The Kardashians star was criticized for looking boring on a night where her creativity shone.

Kendall, 28, appeared at fashion’s biggest night in a long black dress cut in half at the waist, exposing some of her back and bum.
The blouse went down to her chest, exposing her cleavage.
The Givenchy Haute Couture dress came from the autumn-winter 1999 collection.
It had never been worn before, the designer revealed, having only been shown on the bust.
The dress required 500 hours to hand embroider the more than 100,000 beads and sequins.
After the Gala, it will return to the Givenchy archives.
But many critics would have liked it to have stayed there, as they expressed on X, formerly Twitter.
“Boring and disappointing,” one person tweeted, while another agreed: “Basic and boring. Don’t worry about showing up next time.”
“That dress looks so cheap,” lamented another. “She can’t pay anything?”
“Beautiful outfit, but I expected more from her,” said one person.
While one person said: “She looked prettier drinking a coffee.”
KIM’S TURN
Kendall was just the first of her famous sisters to arrive at the event.
Not long after, big sister Kim showed up and showed off in a sparkly silver dress.
The Margiela by John Galliano dress nipped her belly, eliminating her waist, before spreading her legs in silver sequins.
Met Gala 2024 Theme
The Met Gala 2024 theme is The Garden of Time, which takes inspiration from the Costume Institute’s latest exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, titled Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.
The top looked like a sweater that she wore over her shoulder, giving a hint of cleavage.
However, many wondered if the 43-year-old was ready for the night.
“Looks like she just woke up,” one person tweeted about Kim.
“Bro, is she okay?” another wondered.
“All this, and she couldn’t fix her hair?” a third criticized it.
KYLIE, TOO
Even Kylie Jenner couldn’t escape criticism.
After arriving in an ivory dress with a cone-shaped chest covering and flowing train behind her, the 26-year-old was dragged away by X.
“Goddess of disappointment?” one person tweeted.
“This train is in a bad position,” added another.
“I expected more,” noted a third.
The Kardashian clan has attended several Met Galas in the past, although some siblings have been snubbed in recent years.
Last year, Kim and her younger sisters Kylie, 26, and Kendall attended the event.
