Last month, Aoki Simmons, 21, was caught kissing restaurateur Vittorio Assaf, 65, while in St. Louis.
Photos from the Caribbean island showed the couple in swimwear as they embraced passionately on the beach.
Kimora, 49, opened up about her thoughts on the unique couple her daughter formed.
Kimora was “a little embarrassed” by the revelation of the photos, according to TMZ via Page six.

The model added that at the time, she told Aoki “it is what it is” and encouraged her to “come home.”
Kimora added that she was protective of her daughter and implied that due to the “age dynamic” between Aoki and Vittorio, she thought Aoki was “a little set up.”
The supportive mother also stressed that her daughter was not dating the older man, saying that other than the kiss, Aoki and Vittorio were “nothing.”
“She is a young and beautiful girl. I guess we don’t think frogs we can kiss will be transmitted as a thing,” she concluded.
JUST ONE NUMBER?
Although Aoki’s romance with Vittorio was short-lived, apparently lasting just a few days, it appears it may not have been the Serafina Restaurant Group founder’s first time with a younger woman.
According to a source close to Vittorio, the multimillionaire is an “older man with boyish charm”.
“He’s always loved young, beautiful women. He’s gotten older, but his taste hasn’t changed. I wouldn’t be surprised if he went out with another girl tonight!” they added.
On social media, however, fans were not so relaxed about Aoki and Vittorio’s age difference of over four decades.
“Girl, that man is an old scoundrel. You are too smart and beautiful to fall in love with such a classic pattern,” wrote one person on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“A 65-year-old man? Blink once for help. Twice and we’ll send the police,” said a second.

‘INTELLIGENT AND BEAUTIFUL’
Fans claimed Aoki was “too smart” to be with Vittorio after she started an Ivy League college at just 16.
The model graduated from Harvard in 2023 with a double major as a Bachelor of Arts and Classics.
Aoki shared photos from his graduation day, with some of his fans posting the photos on Reddit.
“Beauty and intelligence. I love seeing that!” one fan gushed.
On Instagram, however, a troll left a series of comments accusing Aoki of using his famous parents to get into Harvard.
“Everyone knows Harvard is accepting her because of her parents,” read one of the many comments on an old photo.
Aoki soon clapped back, capturing the trolls’ numerous complaints and responding, “Get a job, weirdo.”
