SEAN “Diddy” Combs’ ex-girlfriend has condemned the rap mogul’s actions, saying the violent assault video triggered her own trauma.
Misa Hylton, mother of one of Bad Boy CEO Justin Combs’ children, expressed her support for Casandra “Cassie” Ventura after surveillance footage showed Diddy attacking the R&B singer in 2016.
“I am heartbroken that Cassie must alleviate the horror of her abuse, and my heart goes out to her,” Hylton wrote in Instagram on Tuesday.
“I know exactly how she feels, and through my empathy, it triggered my own trauma.
“These young people were raised by women who want the best for them – we put God and education first and have always been united in our mutual effort to support their dreams.”
Hylton, who dated Diddy in the early 1990s, concluded by saying that underfire rapper need help.

“Two of the youngest don’t have their mother here and it’s our duty to support them,” added the 51-year-old designer.
“Their dad needs help and I’m praying he actually does the personal work and gets it.”
HORRIFIC VIDEO
Hylton’s statement comes days later CNN released surveillance video from 2016 showing Diddy physically assaulting his then-ex-girlfriend Cassie.
The video showed Diddy, holding a towel around his waist, chasing Casie as she waited for the elevator at the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles.
When Diddy approaches Cassie, he is seen forcefully throwing her to the ground as he begins kicking her as she lies motionless on the lobby floor.
The Bad Boy 4 Life rapper then grabs Cassie’s purse and purse as he continues his attack, dragging her through the elevator and into the hallway.
A second camera angle obtained by the news outlet showed the moments after the assault, when Cassie slowly got to her feet and retrieved her belongings.
Cassie is seen picking up a phone in the hallway as Diddy returns and sits in a chair directly in front of her.
He picks up what appears to be a vase from a table and throws it at Cassie, the video showed.
The disturbing assault matched allegations Cassie made in a lawsuit filed in November 2023 against her ex-boyfriend.
“Ms. Ventura attempted to leave the hotel room, but upon leaving, Mr. Combs woke up and began yelling at Ms. Ventura,” the lawsuit says.
“He followed her into the hotel hallway while shouting at her.
“He grabbed her and then picked up glass vases in the hallways and threw them at her, causing the glass to shatter around them as she ran to the elevator to escape.”
In the lawsuit, Cassie alleged that Combs paid the same hotel $50,000 for footage of the attack.
The lawsuit was closed one day after the documents were filed in Federal Court.
SORRY MASS
Diddy broke his silence and apologized days after the video was released.
He reflected on the moment as one of the “darkest moments” of his life.
“I was fucked,” Combs said in the video.
“I mean, I hit rock bottom, but I don’t make excuses. My behavior in that video is inexcusable.
“I take full responsibility for my actions in that video.
“I’m disgusted. I was disgusted when I did it and I’m disgusted now.
“I went and sought professional help and I had to go to therapy, I had to go to rehabilitation.
“I had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I’m sorry.”
