TENNESSEE courts have halted the sale of Elvis Presley’s Graceland home ahead of the property’s foreclosure auction.

The Memphis mansion was put up for sale on Thursday after the singer’s daughter, Lisa Marie, was unable to repay the loan.

Tennessee Courts Suspended Sale of Elvis Presley’s Graceland

A Shelby County judge issued the order Wednesday to end the auction of the property.

“The court will prohibit the sale as requested because, first, the property is considered unique under Tennessee law,” said Chancellor Joe Dae Jenkins.

“And because it is unique, the loss of the property would be considered irreparable damage.”
