BROADWAY fans have been furious over pre-sales for new play Romeo + Juliet.
The Broadway show stars The Hunger Games’ Rachel Zegler and Heartstoppers’ Kit Connor.
Early access tickets went on sale today for the upcoming play.
Previews begin on September 26th, with the official opening on October 24th.
Romeo + Juliet will run for 16 weeks only at Broadway’s Circle at the Square Theater in New York.
Fans can subscribe to official website to get tickets early.
However, after the news was posted on X, formerly Twitter, fans were furious that they hadn’t received their access codes.
“Where are the codes?” one fan asked.
“Codes arriving late, still no information on dates or prices, and a long virtual waiting room that continues to grow? You guys need to manage this better next time,” said another.
“I waited for a code (which arrived late), waited in line for over an hour and when it was supposed to be my turn I was sent back to the end of the line with an hour to wait. to do this,” added a third.
“How are you going to say the codes are sent at 10 and then send them ten minutes late and now I have a 40 minute queue?” another fan got angry.”
“Girl, where’s my pre-order code?” a user X asked.
“I was not impressed. I was in line for 2 hours and when it was finally my turn, I was kicked out and sent back to wait for over an hour,” said another fan.
Tickets for the general public go on sale on Thursday, May 23 at 10am.
