ARIANA Grande’s boyfriend Ethan Slater shocked fans with his voice in a new video.

In an Instagram Story, the Wicked notable announced his upcoming Big Apple residency.

During the brief clip, Ethan, 31, donned a baggy gray hoodie and showed off his messy red locks.

“Umm…” the Broadway star said before pausing abruptly and laughing awkwardly.

“Hey… I’m doing a week of shows at Café Carlyle next week,” he continued.

“And I’d love to see you there. I’ll play some stuff.”

“New music mostly,” Ethan closed as he tugged at his collar nervously.

The musical star of SpongeBob SquarePants embedded a link to “show tickets” and added a GIF of an animated tuxedo.

The shows start on May 28th and end on June 1st.

THE COMMENTS

In an online thread, critics pointed out the star’s nervousness in his trembling voice.

“Your peculiar act is so bizarre. Explain to me how [Ethan] became a star on Broadway. He better hope Ariana shows up at one of her shows,” scoffed one critic.

“Café Carlyle is a small, intimate place. This will destroy you,” trolled another critic.

“[Ethan]we will need to have some stage pattern ready for this. What will he talk about between songs?”, mentioned a third critic.

“Cabaret performances rely on a more personal connection with the audience than a standard concert. The artist typically talks about his life and career, preferably telling witty anecdotes. [Ethan] are you going to do it?” wrote a fourth person.

“[Ethan]is slowly changing to [Ariana] – the laughter, the giggles and everything. Let’s pray he learns a little about attractiveness from her too,” said one commenter.

Although the couple kept their relationship very private, Ariana, 30, and Ethan were loved up in behind-the-scenes photos.

Ariana stood out when she made a kissy face and pouted her bright pink lips at the camera.

She stunned in a pink floral dress and tied her long hair into a ponytail.

“Over the rainbow to reunite with this magical family! @wickedmovie,” wrote Jeff.

“My heart!” Ariana got emotional in the comments.

Ethan and Ariana dated shortly after she filed for divorce from her ex-husband Dalton Gomez, 28, in September 2023.
