On Friday, Nicki, 41, announced the new tour dates with a post on X, formally Twitter.

The Barbie World rapper tweeted: “We did it Barbz.

“The first US leg of the #PinkFriday2 #GAGCITY TOUR was so successful that I was offered a second leg starting in SEPTEMBER.”

The announcement continued: “Sign up now and tkts will be on sale in a few more days. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. God is good.

“Never give up. You can do it. Let’s go!!!!!!”

The post included a link to a concert RSVP website that listed upcoming dates for the second leg of the tour.

Nicki’s first stop would be Los Angeles, followed soon by dates in Dallas, Las Vegas, Miami and New York.

None of the upcoming shows were located outside the United States.

In response to the feeling of neglect due to the lack of overseas dates, one person tweeted in response to the announcement: “AND YOUR INTERNATIONAL FANS ONIKA.”

Nicki’s birth name is Onika Tanya Maraj.

They added: “She neglected us.”

“She is literally on the international stage now”, defended another fan.

A third replied: “Do you know there are more international things than Europe?”

“I think she will add this next year,” a fourth commenter wrote along with several crying face emojis.

“What about South Africa?!” questioned another.

NICKI DOESN’T APPEAR

In March, just hours before her live performance, Nicki canceled her show in Louisiana citing illness.

She was scheduled to perform at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, but the Super Bass singer’s last-minute cancellation left fans in disarray.

Nicki was scheduled to perform at 9 p.m., but the Smoothie King Center posted on Instagram“Due to doctor’s orders, Nicki Minaj must reschedule her NOLA show tonight,” on short notice at 4:06 p.m.

“Since Nicki is still sick, our team doesn’t want to risk making other people sick, and Nicki wouldn’t be able to give NOLA the show they deserve,” he continued.

“We are working diligently to find a new date, so hold on to your tickets and we will let everyone know soon.”

Nicki had performed three days earlier at a music festival in Los Angeles when she began feeling unwell, according to her X account.

“Barbz please send me healing energy. I woke up feeling like I had Covid. Thank God I didn’t,” she he wrote to his fans on Friday.

“You are everything. I appreciate you. I love you so much.”

Barbz, the name given to his devoted fan base, answered the call immediately, sending well wishes.

“I could tell your voice was a little off. Sending healing energy your way. You were still AMAZING! Always working hard,” one fan commented.

“It means your body is asking for rest. Please get some. We want you to enjoy the tour, but also for your health to come first. We love you so much!” wrote another.

FRUSTRATED FANS

Unlike the response given after her first announcement, the news of Nicki’s show being canceled was met with more frustration.

“Nicki will never hear the end of this until she dies!!!!!” wrote one fan under the original Instagram announcement.

And as for your international fans, Onika.”

“You are crazy with 1,000 points less,” wrote another.

“I HATE IT HEREEEEE”, complained one comment.

On Friday, the star overcame her illness to perform, even warning her fans about the state of her voice.

“Heading to Station Head in a few minutes. Barbz, please tell everyone. …and my voice will probably sound a little different,” she wrote in an X post.

She performed for over an hour on stage at the Rolling Loud music festival.

As fans questioned Monday why Minaj wasn’t simply stepping forward once again to fulfill her obligation in New Orleans, many Barbz rushed to her defense.

“You guys are here if she had still done the show sick and you would all be crying about how horrible the show was,” reprimanded A fan.

“Let @NICKIMINAJ rest and make it up to you guys. Damn I can’t believe you guys are acting like this #GagCityNewOrleans,” they continued.

Other fans provided more thoughts and prayers for the artist and her team following news about her health.

“Sending healing energy and love your way @NICKIMINAJ Praying for you, your family and the entire team,” one fan posted.

Some fans were caught in the middle of the cancellation debate, understanding that the artist could not get sick, but questioning the timing of the announcement.

“No one is mad because she canceled, it’s the fact that they waited 4 hours before the event to officially let us know,” one fan commented on the announcement post.

“She didn’t get sick a few hours ago. This should have been announced this morning or yesterday. This is extremely last minute and I’m very frustrated,” another explained.
