According to PeopleVivienne, 15, chose to use her mother’s legal middle name, Jolie, instead of her last name, Jolie-Pitt.

The Outsiders is a new musical based on the YA novel written by author SE Hinton.

The musical is told from the perspective of the 14-year-old protagonist, Ponyboy Curtis ((Brody Grant), who lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Ponyboy follows the ongoing tension between two rival gangs during the 1960s.

Vivienne’s role is listed in the Playbill as a production assistant.

An assistant producer is typically a member of the production team who provides administrative and creative support to the producer.

Playbill credits Vivienne’s mother, Angelina, 48, as producing the musical.

“Angelina is thrilled to be working on her first theater production venture alongside her daughter, Vivienne, who is a theater student and supporter of the arts,” reads the producer’s information.

The Outsiders: A New Musical received 12 Tony nominations, including Best Musical and Best Original Song.

About a month ago, Angelina spoke to Extra about working with his daughter on the project.

“Viv ended up more with Justin [Levine] than with me, so you can tell by her choice of attire which team she’s on,” the producer said in the video interview.

““Let me tell you something about Viv,” Justin added.

“Viv is one of the greatest humans I have ever met.

“Someone who is an observer and who sees people and sees the world a certain way, you know.”

“I think a lot of this show is reconnecting with your inner child,” he concluded

YOUR BROTHERS

Vivienne’s choice to use a different nickname follows that of her sister Zahara, who also used Jolie when joining a sorority in November 2023.

The 19-year-old pledged to the Mu Pi chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority at Spelman College during the fall, like Zahara Marley Jolie, Essence reported at the time.

Vivienne’s apparent name change comes after years of discord between Brad, 60, Angelina, and their children.

In 2016, the Maleficient actress filed for divorce and requested sole physical custody of the couple’s six children, Vivienne, Zahara, Knox, Maddox, Pax and Shiloh.

The old one Hollywood couple fought for custody of their youngest children for almost eight years.
