On Wednesday, the X account dedicated to pop culture Pop Base tweeted a photo of the Wicked LEGO figures of “‘Glinda’ by Ariana Grande and ‘Elphaba’ by Cynthia Erivo.”

In the comments section, fans revealed they were excited about the Lego release, but angry that the numbers failed to capture the likeness of the film’s stars.

One fan wrote, “I need my mom to buy this for me even though it looks nothing like Ariana.”

“That’s not Ariana!” stated another who saw no similarity between Lego Glinda and Ariana, 30.

“OMG it’s so adorable,” praised another.

“They look so good,” a third added in all caps, while a fourth stated: “I want them.”

READY FOR BAD

Wicked released its full trailer earlier this month, and fans are already labeling it this year’s must-see movie.

The 2003 Broadway hit, based on the 1995 novel of the same name, was turned into a film directed by Jon M. Chu.

Part 1 of the highly anticipated musical adaptation will be released in theaters on November 27th.

The film stars Tony Award-winning star Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba Thropp, aka the Wicked Witch of the West, and Grammy-winning singer Ariana as Glinda, the Good Witch.

The second part of the highly anticipated film Wicked is scheduled for release in November 2025.

The story appears as a prequel to The Wizard of Oz, with the plot beginning before Dorothy Gale arrived in Oz.

It follows the relationship between Elphaba and Glinda after the two meet at school, where Glinda tries to sabotage the green-skinned witch.

The two develop a friendship and later Glinda and Elphaba leave school to meet The Wizard of Oz, who promises to help Elphaba understand her strong powers.

The story explains how each witch got her name and how other characters from The Wizard of Oz – including the Scarecrow, the Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion – came to be.

The Broadway musical, loosely based on the 1995 novel, was nominated for 10 Tony Awards in the 2003-2004 season.

The original Broadway production starred Frozen star Idina Menzel as Elphaba and The West Wing’s Kristin Chenoweth as Glinda.
