TEEN mom Jenelle Evans’ ex-husband, David Eason, has banned his daughter Ensley, 7, from appearing on the MTV show as the star of films with sons Jace, 14, and Kaiser, multiple sources revealed to The US Sun.

A source says David, who has a volatile history with MTV, said “no” to Teen Mom: The Next Chapter production when they called to ask his permission for his seven-year-old daughter to appear on the show.

“David hates MTV. There was no way he would allow them to film with Ensley after they fired him and then with Jenelle,” the source said.

“They’re going to have a really hard time filming around Ensley, she’s a complete personality so I’m not sure how that’s going to happen,” they added.

Another source said that MTV has reached out to Kaiser’s father, Nathan Griffith, and he is ready to allow Kaiser to return to the show, but wants to ensure that the checks from MTV are properly secured for the 9-year-old’s future.

“Nathan knows that the kids who are in the program can set them up for the future. He is currently in negotiations with MTV and is ready to allow Kaiser to be filmed, he just wants to make sure the money is protected for his son before giving a definitive yes.”

As far as Jace is concerned, the source said that because his father, Andrew Lewis, doesn’t have custody or any rights over him, he doesn’t have any say in the matter and therefore the teen is allowed to film.

Jace’s contract with MTV is believed to have already been signed.

Jenelle was fired from MTV in 2019 after her soon-to-be ex David Eason shot and killed the family dog, a French Bulldog named Nugget.

David later admitted to shooting and killing the dog in an interview with People magazine.

“MTV ended its relationship with David Eason over a year ago in February 2018 and has not filmed any new episodes of Teen Mom 2 with him since then,” the network said in a statement at the time.

“Additionally, we stopped filming with Jenelle Eason as of April 6, 2019 and have no plans to cover her story next season.”

Earlier this month, it was revealed that the former star is returning to the network and the Teen Mom franchise.

JENELLE’S RETURN

MTV released a trailer for Teen Mom: The Next Chapter in early May, along with Jenelle’s reappearance.

Jenelle was seen walking down the street and said, “I think it will be good to start over,” as cameras rolled.

Shortly after the release of the first trailer, Jenelle took it to X to exclaim “Let’s go” with celebratory emojis.

JENELLE ENDS THINGS WITH DAVID

Jenelle filed for separation from David in February of this year, citing “erratic” behavior, “substance abuse” issues and “refusal” to work.

Jenelle and David’s Relationship Timeline

The tumultuous duo has had their fair share of disagreements

Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans met David Eason on Tinder in September 2015.

Jenelle became pregnant in April 2016 and announced she suffered a miscarriage, then became pregnant again with her and David’s daughter Ensley a few months later.

The pair got engaged in February 2017 and married in September.

A year after saying “yes,” Jenelle called 911 and accused David of assaulting her outside her home. She would later call the incident “a drunken, dramatic misunderstanding” and said she was “fine.”

Around May 2019, David shot and killed his French bulldog puppy named Nugget. Weeks after the incident, CPS took custody of all of the children, including their daughter, Ensley, Jenelle’s son, Kaiser, and David’s daughter, Maryssa.

When her children were returned to her, Jenelle fled to Tennessee with Kaiser and Ensley and filed an order of protection against David in October. She eventually dropped the case and returned to him.

In the following years, the couple sparked divided rumors, as the two frequently unfollowed each other on social media and updated their relationship statuses on Facebook.

As The US Sun exclusively reported, on February 23, 2024, Jenelle filed for separation from David. She stated that she filed the documents with “the intention that the separation would be permanent” and alleged that Eason had “exhibited troubling and at times disturbing behavior toward [her]”Throughout the entire wedding.

The former Teen Mom 2 star lashed out at David and brought up everything from the murder of her pet dog, Nugget, in 2019, to her current felony charge for allegedly strangling her son, Jace, 14, in court documents revealed exclusively by The Sun from the USA.

Jenelle said she and David officially split on February 16, “with the intention of the separation being permanent.”

The complaint said: “Throughout the duration of the parties’ marriage, Defendant exhibited troubling and at times disturbing behavior toward Plaintiff.”

“In May 2019, the defendant shot and killed the family pet, French Bulldog Nugget, in front of their minor child,” she continued.

In the court filing, Jenelle alleged that as a result of David allegedly killing her family pet, “the Columbus County Department of Children’s Services, DSS, instituted proceedings against the parties and took into custody the aforementioned minor children “.

Jenelle also alleged that David’s daughter, Maryssa, was also taken into DSS custody during the incident.

She then referred to David’s alleged assault on Jace in September last year.

“On or about September 28, 2023, a report was made to medical professionals by the plaintiff’s eldest minor child.”

Jenelle noted that the sheriff’s office investigated the allegations and David was “subsequently charged with misdemeanor child abuse and felonious assault by strangulation.”

David still faces the charges and a trial is scheduled for this summer.

The father of three even publicly responded to these accusations.

Meanwhile, sources said Jace's contract is believed to have already been signed, while Kaiser's father is expected to give the 9-year-old permission to film.
