Dominique Brown was born in the USA after the Brown family moved from Germany.

According to People, she protected Nicole’s two children after their mother’s murder.

Nicole’s daughter, Sydney, was just 8 years old at the time, while her son, Justin, was just 5.

“They lost their mother and it was all over the world,” Dominique told the outlet.

“I knew this was the role I was supposed to play. There was Denise’s son, my son, Sydney and Justin. We played together, we ate together, we went to the beach together – everything together. It was to help them heal and doing things was fun,” she continued, about how she protected the children from the tragic and chaotic situation.

Although Dominique, Denise and Tanya “did not maintain close contact with Sydney and Justin in the years that followed, the sisters believe Nicole would be extremely proud of them and their own families,” People said.

“I see so much pride in their families, as well as [Nicole] had on his children. I see it with kids now,” Dominique said.

Like Dominique, Tanya was born in the US after the Brown family left Germany.

She has been outspoken about domestic violence and mental health.

For her websiteTanya revealed that going through OJ’s trial “made me develop unhealthy coping mechanisms, like suppressing my feelings to survive.”

She continued: “I had no knowledge of mental illness, I didn’t deal with stress, pain and codependency in a healthy way.

“These self-sabotaging behaviors hit me when I attempted suicide in 2004. It’s not that I wanted to die, I just wanted the pain to stop. I don’t see a way out.

“At the recovery hospital, I discovered how to manage my thoughts. I learned self-care tools that helped me. It made all the difference in the world and set me on the path to learning everything I could about psychology.

“In the mental health industry, there are many studies, statistics and reports, but little is said about ‘how to prevent’ mental health problems.”

Tanya is a “self-care advocate” who earned her master’s degree in counseling psychology “so I can equip you with the tools to optimize your mental health and well-being.”
