Ben left Los Angeles alone on Saturday after attending his daughter’s graduation ceremony.

Violet, 18, is Ben’s oldest daughter, and he also shares Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner.

JLo and Ben have no children, but JLo has twins Emme and Max, 16, with her ex-husband Marc Anthony.

Ben was seen smoking while walking down a street with a straight face.

Despite this, the star did not seem to accompany her husband and stepdaughter.

Ben’s appearance came after rumors that the couple were having serious marital problems, while Ben was said to be living in a separate house.

A source told The US Sun that his inner circle saw “the writing on the wall” many months ago, as Ben, 51, was unhappy with his conflicting schedules.

“Ben feels Jen needs to revamp her career and have a better team behind her,” the source revealed.

“He has clashed with some members for some time now and this has caused tension behind the scenes.

“He just wants what’s best for her and feels like she’s doing a lot of mediocre projects and is surrounded by people, who sometimes also make decisions for her.

“Jen also tends to do 50 things at once.”

“Ben is not working as much by choice and she is working too much – so their priorities are different,” they continued.
