BEYONCE fans questioned whether the singer would have a Las Vegas residency after seeing a potential clue.
Live Nation Las Vegas posted a photo on Sunday, teasing fans about an announcement possibly related to its newest artist-in-residence.
“Vegas, hold your horses… wild horses! Big announcement coming tomorrow!” the entertainment company wrote in the Instagram caption.
The photo showed the back of an apparently female figure with light hair, posing in a jacket and cowboy hat.
Although the singer has not been identified, fans have been commenting on who it could be.
With Beyoncé, 42, releasing her country album Cowboy Carter in March of this year, she was at the top of many fans’ list for a Sin City residency.
“If this isn’t wrong, you all know what you’re doing…” one person commented.
“And you better not be joking right now. Because if it’s not Beyoncé, just say so. NO PMO,” wrote a second.
“Beyoncé – Cowboy Carter @ Sphere Residency,” speculated a third.
“OMGGG BEYONCEEEEEE,” wrote a fourth, while another joked: “BETTER NOT BE! I HAVE RENT TO PAY HELLO.”
“Nooooo nooooo Beyoncé, I’m not ready. PLEASE,” someone else said.
CLOSE, BUT NO CIGAR
Others debunked Beyoncé’s theory, believing the photo looked more like country singer Lainey Wilson.
They also noted a connection between Lainey’s song Wildflowers and Wild Horses and the post’s caption.
“Guys this isn’t Beyoncé, you even said that about Country Coachella weekend and she wasn’t there,” one person wrote.
“These are Lainey Wilson’s people, not Beyoncé,” wrote a second.
“Laney Wilson, guys. She literally has a song called ‘Wildflowers and Wild Horses,'” noted a third.
“Y’all know this isn’t a Beyoncé ad, let’s be honest and move on,” said one finale.
COWBOY CARTER’S SUCCESS
The new speculation about a possible residency comes as Beyoncé releases her debut country album earlier this year.
Cowboy Carter, a 27-track offering, became Spotify’s most-streamed record of the year in just one day.
She released her smash hit, Texas Hold ‘Em, during this year’s Super Bowl.
The song earned Beyoncé the title of the first black woman to top the Billboard country chart.

Other songs on the album feature collaborations with country icons Dolly Parton and Willie Nelson, along with Miley Cyrus and Post Malone.
“Beyoncé has intelligently explored an extremely lucrative area that is often ignored by artists in other genres,” said a music industry source.
“She knocked the door down and revamped the style and sound perfectly.
“Her eighth album is estimated to be one of her most commercially successful to date, reinvigorating not only her existing fans but also those loyal to the country genre,” they added.
“It’s a genius move, which she executed with aplomb and intelligence by really doing her homework and doing justice to the genre.”
The album was met with rave reviews from fans.
