DAKOTA Fanning has revealed that Tom Cruise sends her a gift every year on her birthday.
While appearing on The Kelly Clarkson Show, the Ripley actress admitted that the gifts generated a huge collection.
During the interview, Kelly, 42, mentioned that Dakota, 30, recently celebrated a birthday.
“We’ve known you since you were so little, so I feel like you’ve grown up in front of us,” she told The Watchers star.
She continued: “I thought that was amazing, every year on your birthday, Tom Cruise still sends you a gift on your birthday.”
Dakota and Tom, 61, starred together in Steven Spielberg’s 2005 sci-fi action thriller War of the Worlds.
The Top Gun: Maverick actor played Ray Ferrier and Dakota starred as his estranged daughter, Rachel.
The child actress turned Hollywood star stated that she turned 11 during the filming of the film and Tom gifted Dakota her first cell phone on that birthday.
“It was a Motorola Razr… I wanted a Razr so bad and I must have talked about it a lot because that’s what he gave me,” she told Kelly.
Dakota added, “What a great memory.”
Kelly asked the Equalizer 3 actress, “What did he send you this year?”
“He always sends me the same thing every year,” Dakota replied.
She continued: “After the cell phone, I loved shoes when I was little and I started being able to put on really small adult shoes when I was on the War of the Worlds press tour, so I was really excited about them.
“So from that birthday onwards he always sends me shoes.”
Kelly replied: “You must have a huge shoe collection brought by Tom Cruise.”

Last year, Dakota reteamed with Denzel on the third Equalizer film.
As mentioned, Dakota starred alongside Tom Cruise in War of the Worlds (2005) and starred alongside a CGI pig in the 2006 live-action remake of Charlotte’s Web.
In 2009, she provided the titular voice Coraline in the stop-motion cult classic.

The same year, Dakota began taking on more mature roles by starring as Jane Volturi in The Twilight Saga: New Moon, she would revisit the role in the 2010 sequel, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse and later in 2012’s The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. – Part 2.

This month, the actress is promoting the release of her new supernatural horror film, The Watchers.
Dakota has a younger sister, Elle Fanning, 26, who is also an actress.
