According to TMZGeorge, 63, ended the show 30 minutes early after some “intruders” interrupted his performance.

The show was rescheduled after the George Lopez star canceled his show in April because of a medical emergency.

Videos of the aftermath were shared on social media, as participants expressed their frustrations with George’s actions.

Although they didn’t show the alleged hecklers, a clip captured the angry crowd leaving their seats when George didn’t return to the stage.

TMZ obtained an official statement shared by George’s team, which appeared to blame the venue for the situation.

“It is the venue’s or casino’s job to provide a good experience for both the artist and fans, but the casino failed in this regard. The audience was overserved and unruly, and the casino staff were unable to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for the artist and guests,” the statement began.

“George’s personal security team worked with the venue’s security team to maintain order, ensure safety and evict disruptive individuals. Unfortunately, the casino’s security team was not suited to carry out this task.

The statement continued: “George is not required to perform in an unsafe environment. He feels bad that those who came to see the show were unable to do so.”

However, the local told a different story about how things went down in an Instagram post.

Their message accused George of “letting down his fans” and criticized the comedian for not using venue security or his private security, who were reportedly present, to deal with hecklers.

They noted that they would release a formal statement on the ordeal on Monday.

Fans rushed to the comments to criticize George for his behavior.

“Biggest disappointment. We all thought it was part of the show…never again!!” one participant wrote.

“Wow, sad, not a fan anymore. I’m glad I didn’t waste my time and money,” said another fan.

“Maybe it’s time to never hire Mr. Lopez at Eagle Mountain Casino again. He showed Casino our community that he lacks professionalism.

“He may have issues and problems far beyond the reason he canceled. It seems like he didn’t want to act or he no longer has the comedy magic,” said a third.

The US Sun reached out to George’s team for comment, who repeated their stance that the actor was in the wrong.

As of Saturday night, George had not addressed the incident on any of his platforms.

His last post on his Instagram feed was weeks earlier, resharing NBC’s announcement that its sitcom Lopez vs. López was renewed for a third season.

The show debuted on the network in 2022, telling the story of a working-class family’s “dysfunction, reconnection, and all the pain and joy in between,” as per IMDB.
