BEBE Rexha publicly criticized G-Eazy after his team reached out, asking her to film social media content with him.
The I’m Good singer branded the California native a “loser” in a scathing post that has since been deleted.
Bebe, 34, posted a screenshot of text messages from G-Eazy’s team asking her to work with the Tumblr Girls singer as her 2015 hit Me, Myself & I is going viral.
She tagged him in the post, adding a long, heated message.
“You have my number. Why don’t you text me and ask me yourself, you are an ungrateful, arrogant loser,” she began.
“You’re lucky that people are liking you again. Because I could tell you all the bad things you did and how you treated me after I gave you your only real hit.”
“In fact, the answer is no,” she concluded.
Bebe and G-Eazy haven’t worked together since Me, Myself & I was released.
She also shared a photo of her and Halsey with the caption, “Bebe Rexha and Halsey talking about how they steered G-Eazy’s career.”
She deleted the post but let fans know her stance.
In a separate post on X, she revealed that her team suggested removing the post.
“Someone on my team made me take down my Instagram story,” she began.
“I decided to remove it because it felt very negative and toxic. Sometimes trauma can cause us to react this way, and this period in my life was traumatizing.
“I’m writing this because I regret writing it down and I want to say that I still stand by what I said.”
RELATIONSHIP CHANGES
This is a stark change from the feelings Bebe expressed towards G-Eazy in 2017.
At the time, she stated that she and the rapper had a lot in common.
“It’s interesting, we’re like the same person,” she said in an interview with HipHopDX.
“We’re both 27 years old. We both studied music management. We love music. I think we’re on the same wavelength when it comes to wanting to be iconic.”
“Working with him is incredible energy and chemistry. I think we have incredible chemistry when it comes to music,” she concluded.
SPEAKING WHAT YOU THINK
Bebe is not afraid to speak her mind.
On June 4, a video surfaced of the In The Name of Love singer ejecting nearly a dozen fans from her concert.
She was performing at the Titletown District’s Summer Fun Days Showcase in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Video of the performance shows that Bebe was forced to stop the show after attendees started throwing things.
“Bebe Rexha had to interrupt her show TWICE tonight because of people throwing things on stage and in the audience, like 10 people were escorted out because of this throughout the entire show,” the videographer wrote.
Bebe was hit in the face in 2023, leaving her with a nasty black eye.
Therefore, she takes extra care when throwing objects at her shows.
“Out, out… OR if you want to hit me in the face, I happened to press charges with the other guy, I’d love to get richer, so go ahead, honey,” she said.
Bebe then hurriedly added, “But I’m not… I’m not inviting this, please, it was a joke.”
The initial incident occurred last year during his show at The Rooftop at Pier 17.
Police arrested and charged Nicolas Malvagna, 27, of Manalapan, New Jerseywith aggression.
“I was trying to see if I could hit her with the phone at the end of the show because it would be funny,” he allegedly told police.
