Jessica Alba reveals ‘highs and lows’ of 16-year marriage to Cash Warren as she ‘makes a choice’ to keep marriage alive

JESSICA Alba revealed what her marriage to husband Cash Warren has been like as the couple recently celebrated their 16th anniversary.

Jessica, 43, and Cash, 45, met in 2004 and married four years later in May 2008.

In a new interview, the Fantastic Four actress shared what she learned to have a happy marriage.

First things first, make each other a priority.

“It’s something you really have to make a choice about,” she said People.

“You really have to find time to make time for each other.

“Take these moments to see each other and laugh and not be on the phone and just connect.

Secondly, the Hollywood actress talked about finding perspective when going through ups and downs.

“Whenever we ebb or flow, we just look around and think, ‘Actually, worst-case scenario, I’m still better off with you.’

“You have to look up and say, ‘Would my life be better if we weren’t together?’ And every time it’s ‘No’. We’re friends, you know?”

FAMILY TIME

Jessica and Cash welcomed their first child, Honor, 16, in December 2007.

The parents also share two other children: Haven, 12, and Hayes, 6.

The family of six recently participated in Monster Jam in May, which features stunts of people driving monster trucks.

“The girls and I were out of our element, but Hayes was so excited to show us around. He knew all the cars, drivers and stats,” Jessica said.

The star showed off her experience on Instagram.

In a video, Jessica recorded Cash and his children having fun watching the show.
