Scammers target Britney Spears’ $1.2 million childhood home, which remains unsold and ‘frozen in time’, surrounded by Trump flags

Scammers have targeted Britney Spears’ childhood home as the $1.2 million property struggles to find a buyer since being listed on the market.

The music history piece went up for sale in October, with some potential buyers pitching ideas of converting it into a modern Graceland.

The property, located in Kentwood, Louisianaabout 10 minutes south of Mississippi border, occupies a special place Spears‘life after moving to the property in the 1980s, aged 3.

The pop superstar, 42, spent her teenage years living in the single-story home, which remained in the family until 2021, when her father Jamie Spears sold it for $289,000.

Exclusive photos obtained by The US Sun show that the Toxic singer’s childhood home has been kept in its former state, as it was when Spears lived there.

Photos show the modest farmhouse, situated on nearly two acres of land in the rural South, with pro-Trump flags flying above it.

Inside and out, the residence, built in 1979, hasn’t changed much since Spears’ time there.

Realtor Yvonne Hulsey told The US Sun that the house comes fully furnished: “There is a lot of furniture that is still part of the history of the house when Britney was a child.

“There was something written in the concrete when the sidewalks were built.

“There is graffiti on one of the closet doors that says: ‘Christina [Aguilera] is shit, and Britney is awesome.’

“They were rivals I think when they were little, and I think they’re good friends now.”

ICONIC PROPERTY

Hulsey, who was also the selling agent when the house was sold in 2021, said Jamie Spears left behind several belongings.

“When Mr. Spears vacated the premises, he left several things that were historic in his childhood home,” Hulsey told The US Sun.

“Chairs, sofas, end tables, knick-knacks, things like that, nothing really personal to Britney, but I guess for the family.”

In fact, the original dance studio where Britney’s love of dance flourished remains untouched.

“Her dance studio, all the mirrors are still intact, the floor, and everything is still intact when Britney left,” Hulsey said.

But despite the new owner leaving the Spears family furniture intact, Hulsey said she has struggled to find a buyer since listing the house on the real estate market eight months ago.

The real estate agent said scammers tried to get their hands on the iconic property.

“I’ve had a lot of activity, but I haven’t had a solid buyer yet,” she said.

“Lots of scammers, but I haven’t blocked anything yet.

“There are people interested in transforming it into a guesthouse or a museum.

“You know, being an iconic property, there’s been a lot of interest. I just don’t have anything solid.”

‘THE FRESH HOUSE’

Britney Spears’ childhood home has 2,200 square feet of living space and features three bedrooms and three bathrooms.

The room, believed to belong to Spears before her heyday, still features NSYNC stickers and other ’90s pop decorations.

Inside the house, photos show original works of art from the grandfather winner during her youth, including a drawing of a house with flowers and mountains in the background and an image that says, “Jesus loves me!”

Spears talks about her upbringing in the Kentwood house in her memoir, The Woman In Me.

Spears referred to her childhood home as a “zoo,” but added that it was also, “for lack of a better word, the cool house.”
