The 77th annual Tony Awards will take place tonight and will recognize this year’s biggest Broadway shows and stars.
Oscar winner and Tony nominee Ariana DeBose will host the ceremony for the third year in a row.
Julianne Hough will host the Tony Awards pre-show: Act One at 6:30pm on Pluto TV alongside Utkarsh Ambudkar, Freestyle Love Supreme alum and star of CBS’s Ghosts.
There will also be performances from the casts of some of the nominated musicals, including Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club, Merrily We Roll Along, The Outsiders, Water for Elephants and more.
Alicia Keys and Jay-Z are set to perform Empire State of Mind as part of the Hell’s Kitchen medley, while The Who guitarist Pete Townshend will join the cast of The Who’s Tommy on stage.
Additionally, Audra McDonald, Bebe Neuwirth and Brian Stokes Mitchell will headline a tribute honoring the late Chita Rivera, who died earlier this year at age 91.
