JACK Black looked unrecognizable as he rocked a particularly eccentric ensemble in Los Angeles on Sunday.
The 54-year-old Tenacious D star wore a safari-style hat, a giant off-white beard and Airpod Max headphones while out and about.
Jack sported his now very bushy beard, which he paired with a head-turning outfit that was hard to ignore.
The beloved actor battled the scorching Los Angeles temperatures wearing a purple tie-dye t-shirt, printed shorts and sunglasses.
The accessories kept coming as he was also carrying a large backpack that was strapped to the front in two places.
He wore comfortable Merrill shoes and long socks.
His helmet may have gotten top billing, however.
The big $500 Apple headphones, the wide-brimmed hat, and the beard all combine to almost cover his face.
In photos obtained by US Sun, the actor appeared at peace and hugged the stranger as he went on his way.
The Father’s Day outing came as Jack wished his father, Thomas Black, a happy Father’s Day on social media.
The Shallow Hal star took a selfie with her rarely seen father inside what appeared to be a church.
The pair were dressed for success in tuxedos as they posed together.
“Happy Father’s Day… you look younger than me!” Jack wrote in the caption.
Jack is currently taking a break from touring the world with his comedy rock duo, Tenacious D.
The musical comedy group will perform in Sydney, Australia on July 13, 2024, but tickets are already sold out.
The duo is made up of Jack and his longtime bandmate, Kyle Gass.
Last year, Jack revealed that of all his TV and film credits (even School of Rock), he’s most proud of the 2006 film Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny.
SUPPORTING JOE
Meanwhile, Jack attended President Joe Biden’s Democratic fundraiser on Saturday with Barack Obama, just before the outing.
Jack posed with Joe (who appeared to freeze on stage) and Barack in a photo that went viral during the event.
The veteran comedy star showed up in what he called an “awesome American flag jumpsuit,” paired with a “Dark Brandon” t-shirt.
The actor also spoke at the event organized by Jimmy Kimmel and gave some criticism.
Jack joked that he turned down offers to appear at everything from a bat mitzvah to a Jack in the Box opening to help the president alongside George Clooney and Julia Roberts.
“And when the president wins in November – yes! – I’m almost certain I’ll receive a tribute in your victory speech for what I gave up to be here,” he said.
“Because when democracy is at stake, Jack Black answers the call. Mr President, you are welcome.
Biden will face former President Donald Trump in a rematch for the White House in November.
