COUNTRY artist Mark Chesnutt is recovering from emergency heart surgery and has canceled upcoming shows until at least September.
The singer announced the news this Wednesday in a post on Instagram.
Mark, 60, shared a photo of himself on stage behind a microphone holding his guitar.
He smiled and pointed his finger at the camera.
However, the Ol’ Country singer’s caption was much heavier, as it detailed the heart problem he had on Sunday, which led to him being hospitalized and undergoing urgent surgery.
Mark then revealed that he would no longer be able to perform at his upcoming shows.
