The award-winning actor is survived by his immediate family, including his five children.

He has four sons, Kiefer, Roeg, Rossif and Angus Sutherland, and a daughter, Rachel.
All five of his children have worked in the entertainment industry, albeit in different roles.
His eldest son, Kiefer Sutherland, followed in his footsteps and became an actor.
He is best known for his award-winning role as Jack Bauer on the drama series 24.
His twin sister, Rachel, worked behind the scenes as a production manager, according to People.
Sutherland’s third son is Roeg Sutherland.
He works at talent and sports agency Creative Artists Agency in its media financing division, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
