PIERCE Brosnan’s estranged son Christopher has been spotted in the midst of a rare public outing 20 years after he was allegedly “cut off” by his father.

Christopher, who has publicly struggled with addiction, was spotted leaving a supermarket on Friday.

The actor, 51, wore a red hoodie underneath an olive green vest with navy blue sneakers and gray Converse sneakers.

The photos show Christopher carrying a shopping bag from a Waitrose store in London.

The UK native, who had a solemn expression, wore his shoulder-length hair tied under a navy blue cap, which he wore backwards.

Photos of the reclusive Brosnan showed him walking with a slight hunch while carrying a reusable Waitrose bag in one hand and his phone in the other.

Christopher was born to Cassandra Harris and her ex-husband Dermot Harris, but was later adopted by the James Bond star in 1986 when Dermot died.

Additionally, the 71-year-old “Mamma Mia” actor also adopted Christopher’s late sister – Charlotte Brosnan – when Brosnan married Cassandra in 1980.

Christopher worked with his famous father in several iconic films such as “Tomorrow Never Dies” (1997), “The World Is Not Enough” (1999) and “Robinson Crusoe” (1997).

Tensions between father and son rose when Christopher’s drug abuse, overdose and run-ins with the law forced the Hollywood actor to distance himself.

In 2005, the “Mrs. Doubtfire” spoke about his estranged son.

“Christopher is still very lost. Surprisingly. I know where he is, but he’s having a hard life,” he told Playboy magazine.

“I can only have a lot of faith and believe that he will recover. He tested everyone in this family, but no one more than himself. He knows how to get out. He does not want.”

According to Brosnan, the entire ordeal was “painful,” saying the experience made him “switch off.”

“You never completely interrupt them,” he observed, “but I interrupted Christopher. I had to say, ‘Go. Get busy living or get busy dying.’ He has my prayers.”

In 2022, it appeared that father and son had mended their bond when Christopher paid tribute to his father in a touching Father’s Day post.

“My love forever to you dear children, Paris, Dylan, Sean and Christopher,” he captioned a photo him with the first three.

“Thank you deeply for your love this Father’s Day.”

It comes after Pierce Brosnan was photographed looking unrecognizable recently as he prepared for his latest role.

Wearing an Adidas tracksuit and white sneakers, the 70-year-old looked very different to his usual dapper roles.

He played Brandan Ingle, an Irish boxing trainer, while filming the film Giant.

Brosnan was filming in Yorkshire, northern England, home of cult boxer ‘Prince’ Naseem Hamed, who Ingle helped train to stardom.
