Nelly, 45, was singing her song, Eat Your Man, when she appeared to get involved with something on stage.

Moments later, she fell, falling right on her face. The loud thump could be heard through his microphone.

But being professional means the show must go on, and she continued her song without missing a beat.

Proving that laughter is the best medicine, she owned up to her mistake, posting a video online with some words of wisdom for her fans.

“Eat Your Man…not the stage,” she joked, adding a laughing emoji.

But it wasn’t all fun. In another video, Nelly showed her thumb – bleeding from the fall.

“Literally left everything on stage… including my blood,” she captioned the video.

Yet she still managed a smile, flashing a thumbs-up with her bloody thumb and exclaiming, “That Barbie likes to rave!”

LIKE A PROFESSIONAL

Fans online praised the way she handled the situation.

“This can happen to anyone. Sending hugs,” one person tweeted, while another noted, “I’m back like a pro.”

“Hey, good recovery,” noted a third.

“I didn’t miss a beat,” pointed out a fourth.

While one person reasoned: “It takes a lot of courage to keep acting after something like that.”

BETTER LUCK

Nelly had better luck a few days earlier, when she gave a spectacular performance at the Juno Awards in Canada.

The Promiscuous singer performed a montage of her greatest hits on stage at the Scotiabank Center in Nova Scotia.

Nelly wore a long-sleeved silver jacket cut off at the midriff.

The Grammy winner showed off her flat stomach and showed off her long, bare legs as she strutted across the stage in matching boots.

After taking off her cropped jacket, the host showed off her skin-tight metallic jumpsuit.

The metallic piece had cutouts to tease out a little cleavage.

She parted her hair in the middle and tied the rest of the strands into a bun at the back.

The singer also shared black and white snapshots of her performance on Instagram.

“Show time!” she captioned the post.
