SURI Cruise finished high school while the teenager was with family and friends for the special moment.
The 18-year-old flashed a big smile alongside her famous mother, Katie Holmes, as they celebrated at the United Palace Theater in New York.
Suri wore a bright red prom dress over a white dress that almost reached her ankles, pairing the look with a pair of high heels.
The teenager, who has mostly remained out of the spotlight, held on to her graduation cap as she strolled down her Manhattan block while chatting with her loved ones, particularly her mother Katie.
Katie, 45, wore a yellow sweater over matching pants and also wore silver shoes.
The Dawson’s Creek star wore sunglasses as she laughed with her only child.
At one point, mother and daughter hugged as they smiled and took photos on Suri’s big day after years of hard work at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music, Art and Performing Arts.
Later, Suri appeared to switch up her shoes, swapping her elegant heels for a more comfortable and casual pair of high-top white Converse.
The happy day comes just two months after the actress missed Suri’s big 18th birthday; as the young star was seen on a solo tour.
Suri’s father, iconic Hollywood star Tom Cruise, was also not with his daughter that day as he was busy filming the next chapter of her Mission; Impossible franchise.
Tom, however, was also identified on Taylor Swift’s Ages tour in London.
Sources say the 61-year-old actor hasn’t seen Suri in over a decade.
Suri is now expected to go to Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to study design.
Suri and Tom haven’t had the best relationship over the years.
Katie won sole custody of the former couple’s only child following their 2012 split, along with a huge financial settlement.
Many suspected that Tom’s ties to the Church of Scientology could be the reason for his divorce from Katie.
Tom and Suri Cruise’s troubled relationship

Tom Cruise and his youngest daughter Suri have been separated for over a decade
The 18-year-old has not seen her father since her mother, actress Katie Holmes, divorced him when she was five.
Katie, 44, won sole custody of Suri in 2012 and a generous settlement from her ex-husband.
Many fans believe that the reason behind the split was Tom’s association with the cult religion of Scientology.
After the divorce, Katie spiraled out of control with her daughter as they rebuilt their lives in New York, 2,300 miles away from the action star.
The actor has been accused of putting his religion before his daughter, with former Scientologists claiming he was ordered to shun the Dawson’s Creek star and her son as non-believers.
Former church member Samantha Domingo, daughter-in-law of opera singer Placido, said in 2019: “You can’t be anti-Scientology if you’re part of Tom’s family, you’re disconnected – look at his daughter Suri.”
She added that the church, which believes humanity is descended from an alien race of gods, viewed Suri “as a spiritual being in Tom’s daughter’s body.”
Despite his teenage estrangement, the Top Gun star has kept in touch with his two eldest children, Isabella, 31, and Connor, 29, – both of whom are heavily involved in Scientology.
Tom adopted them both when he was married to his ex-wife Nicole Kidman, who was also reportedly excluded from their lives for being a “repressed person” – SP – someone who doesn’t believe in the church.
As for Suri, after turning 18, she is believed to have made a big decision in her personal life.
In May, Suri apparently changed her last name.
She was listed on the cast list as Suri Noelle while recently starring in Head Over Heels on Broadway.
Noelle is her mother’s middle name, and the two have developed a strong bond over the years living together in New York City.
The actress birth certificate still has her name listed as Suri Cruise.
But Suri apparently has no relationship with her action movie father, as they have been estranged since she was a child.
Tom previously denied cutting his daughter out of his life.
In 2013, he sued the publisher of two magazines that he felt had insinuated that he had “abandoned” her.
