Many of the pilot’s fans commented on the post sending good wishes.

‘I pray you are well. Have a great day, Lizzy,” one user commented.

“We love you, Beth, for being such a strong mom and fighting all of Lizzy Musi’s battles with her. Happy Mother’s Day, Mom Musi,” said a second person.

“I had to look twice because I thought it was YOU!! Happy Mother’s Day,” wrote a third.

The social media post came just weeks before Musi, 33, lost her fight against breast cancer.

Musi died at home surrounded by her family Wednesday night, her father and drag racing legend Pat Musi announced on Facebook.

“Thank you for all the prayers and support during your battle,” he said.

“At this time, the family would like to have time to process, grieve and make arrangements in peace.

“We will provide an update as soon as we have information to share.”

Musi’s father, Pat, shared the news of his daughter’s death on Facebook on Thursday night.

“Surrounded by her family, in the comfort of her own home, Lizzy was called to heaven at 11:25pm this evening.

“Thank you for all the prayers and support during your battle.

Musi, who rose to prominence after scoring three consecutive Street Outlaws victories, revealed in 2023 that she had been diagnosed with stage 4 triple negative breast cancer – the most aggressive type of breast cancer.

Since then, the racing star has been very open about his diagnosis.

The cancer had spread to his lymph nodes and liver, but Musi remained optimistic about his condition.

Last month, she shared that she had “great news” while receiving cancer treatment in Germany.

The driver revealed that she would seek treatment at the Medias Klinikum treatment center in Burghausen, Germany.

“I’ve kind of tried everything here [in the U.S.]and I researched the doctor and treatment in Germany that can isolate my liver and treat it,” said Lizzy Drag illustrated at the time.

His father’s post caused an outpouring of love and sympathy.

“This just hurts my heart. She was such an inspiration to the girls. I loved watching her run,” one user wrote, adding, “Rest easy beautiful, you will be forever missed.”

“This caught me off guard this morning. Such a strong, beautiful soul. I’m sorry she didn’t have more time. My condolences to her family and friends,” a second person agreed.

“Condolences to her family. Run high to the sky Lizzy,” a third person wrote.
