The singer suffered a freak accident in November 2017.
“On Friday, Carrie Underwood took a hard fall down some steps outside her home,” Underwood’s rep wrote in a statement provided to Today on Sunday, November 12, 2017.
“Although there were no serious injuries, she was taken to hospital for treatment.”

“In addition to breaking my wrist, I somehow managed to injure my face as well.”
“I’ll spare you the horrible details, but when I came out of surgery the night of my fall, the doctor told Mike he had put in between 40 and 50 stitches.”
Underwood admitted that she didn’t look the same and wasn’t sure if she ever would.
It’s unclear whether she had reconstructive or plastic surgery, or improved her appearance with Botox or fillers after the incident.
“A beauty professional suggested, without confirmation, that Underwood may have undergone treatments such as anti-wrinkle injections, collagen synthesis and dermal fillers for a youthful appearance, based on visual assessments and not official reports,” as discussed in Vera Clinic.
