CARRIE Underwood shared a bare-faced photo for her low-key Fourth of July and fans are loving it.
The American Idol winner took a selfie, sharing it to her Instagram Story on Thursday.
Carrie, 41, wore a themed tank top that said, “Go short, it’s your birthday.”
There was a photo of the United States in the middle.
The Before He Cheats singer wore her hair in braided braids and had a gray hat on her head.
She was wearing tiny black shorts.
“Showing some [love] to the old USA today while working in the garden! #America,” his caption read.
Carrie then showed off her lush garden, complete with a large trellis for her cucumbers to grow on.
“Cucumber Cave!” she wrote over the photo.
She then took a photo of her compost pile, where there was a large sunflower growing.
Carrie also shared a close-up of the flower.
“God can make beautiful things out of big messes!!!” his caption read.
CHANGING FACES
Fans of the country singer have noticed a big change in her appearance over the years.
She recently shared a video teasing new content on her fitness app, Fit52, that got supporters excited.
In the video, Carrie was dressed in sportswear.
She stood facing the camera, smiling at her 13.2 million Instagram followers.
“OK, it’s time to work out, let’s do this,” she said before performing a series of moves.
“Show your legs some love this long weekend with a Flash Fit workout!” says the caption, which features a flexed leg and biceps emoji.
“Our fearless leader @carrieunderwood is bringing you a steamy session that will target and strengthen your lower body.”
“Complete 10 reps of each move and repeat the circuit three times for a quick, effective workout in under 15 minutes.”
“Who’s going to work with us this weekend?”
Fans in the comments praised her fitness regime and toned body.
“If this is going to give me Carrie legs, count me in,” one fan wrote.
“Nothing like a good legzersize,” exclaimed another.
Some fans, however, were focused on Carrie’s seemingly altered appearance.
“She looks different…but always in shape,” one user wrote.
The musician suffered a strange injury in November 2017.
“On Friday, Carrie Underwood suffered a serious fall down some steps outside her home,” her rep wrote in a statement provided to Today on Sunday, November 12, 2017.
“Although there were no serious injuries, she was taken to hospital for treatment.”
“She suffered several injuries, including a broken wrist and some cuts and bruises in the fall.”
“Her husband, Mike Fisher, was able to return to town that night to be with her and she was released from the hospital.”
“Her recovery will take some time and she appreciates all the prayers and well wishes,” her rep added.
Carrie opened up about her injuries in a May 2018 interview with People.
“It’s crazy how one freak, random accident can change your life,” she said.
“In addition to breaking my wrist, I somehow managed to injure my face as well.”
“I’ll spare you the horrible details, but when I came out of surgery the night of my fall, the doctor told Mike he had put in between 40 and 50 stitches.”
Carrie confessed that she didn’t look the same and wasn’t sure if she would ever go back to her old self.
SURGERY SPECULATION
In June, Carrie attended the 2024 Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Gala.
She arrived on the event’s red carpet in a stunning silver mini dress that showed off her toned figure.
Carrie had her blonde hair combed in a parting style in loose waves and wore glamorous makeup on her face.
Some fans felt that her face looked dramatically different from the past and asked if she had had any procedures done.
“Carrie has gone too far. She is unrecognizable. Beautiful, but something seems off,” criticized one person.
“Her hair ruined everything that was beautiful about her.
She’s a mess…,” a second criticized.
“She’s a great singer, but her outfit is horrible! And stop with plastic surgery,” wrote a third.
“She looks very different,” pointed out a fourth person.
Many supporters defended her, with one writing: “Who cares if she’s had work done? She looks beautiful. She can do whatever she wants with herself. People are so judgmental and annoying.”
