But at the 2023 Academy of Country Music Awards, the country singer surprised everyone by arriving with Devlin Hodges.

In May 2023, Lainey attended the 2023 Academy of Country Music Awards with former NFL quarterback Devlin ‘Duck’ Hodges.

“He literally tried out for the Steelers and made it and had a great season with them. He went to the LA Rams and did that.
“But I’ll tell you, he’s as good as gold. He supports me, he would never get in the way of anything I’m trying to do. He’s like, ‘Go ahead, girl.’ And I made him wait a while, I mean… It’s been a little over two years.
Before going public with Hodges, Lainey was secretive about her love life, but said she was previously in a long-term relationship with her high school sweetheart for seven years.
“He was the only thing I ever knew,” said the singer People.
“We grew up together. He was my best friend. We saw each other at many different stages of our lives.
“But I knew I had to leave something behind so I could try to do that damn thing in Nashville.”

Who is Lainey Wilson?
Lainey Wilson is an American country singer, songwriter and actress born on May 19, 1992, in Baskin, Louisiana.
She developed a love for music at the age of nine after attending a show at the Grand Ole Opry with her family.
