LIONES star Mike Heslin has died unexpectedly at age 30, according to his husband.
The actor was known for his work on Lioness and The Holiday Proposal Plan.
Scotty Dynamo, born Nicolas James Wilson, confirmed the untimely death of her husband Mike on Friday in a statement on social media.
He revealed that the actor died “from an unexpected cardiac event following a week-long battle in the hospital.”
He passed away on July 2nd.
“Michael was young, in perfect health and doctors have no explanation for what happened,” he added.
Scotty shared a collection of photos of him and Mike on Instagram.
The post started with a relatively recent selfie and included sweet photos from their wedding, as well as photos of Mike as a child.
The star’s husband remembers him as a “bright, selfless, real-life guardian angel.”
He said in his post that Mike supported him “through several rounds of cancer.”
“He was the first person everyone would call to share good news, and he was the perfect person to call if they needed a shoulder to lean on or the best advice,” he continued.
Scotty also praised her late husband as “the sweetest, most caring, most loving man in the world.”
He wrote in part: “Michael, meeting you was the best thing that ever happened to me. You are my world. You are everything to me. When I felt you take your last breath, my heart broke into a million pieces. If I If I had the power to change places with you, I would do it in an instant.”
“But I will take it one day at a time, like you always told me, and live every day in your honor,” he promised.
According to Scotty’s statement, he and Mike “were in the beginning stages of starting a family” when he died.
“If I ever become a father, I will name my son after you and hope I can raise him to become at least half the man you are,” he promised.
‘BEYOND THE BROKEN HEART’
Scotty also opened up about his pain on Instagram.
He shared a photo from his and Mike’s wedding on his Story.
“I’m heartbroken and lost. Every second without you by my side seems impossible. Every breath I take causes me physical pain. But if there’s one thing I know about you, it’s that you would like me and everyone who had the pleased to know you will stay strong and live the rest of our lives to the fullest,” he wrote in a caption on the snap.
He shared another beautiful photo of them along with the caption, “I miss you so much.”
SENDING CONDOLENCES
Fans responded to Scotty’s post, apologizing and sending their support.
“I’m so sorry. I lost my 33 year old brother to an unexpected cardiac arrest in November – the suddenness and lack of reason is so cruel. I wish you peace, remember to be patient in this process and open up and surrender to love of the people around you,” wrote one fan.

In addition to Scotty’s moving tribute, a GoFundMe was created in honor of Mike.
Fundraising aims to cover hospital, funeral and other costs.
On the website, Mike’s family and friends wrote: “There are many ways to define a person and their impact, and Mike is so many beautiful things to so many people. But the word we keep coming back to is Helper. In that spirit of Mike, it is time to be the Helpers.”
