Glen Powell fans slam actor for posting ‘half-naked thirst trap’ with his dog and admit ‘it’s uncomfortable!’

ACTOR Glen Powell has been criticized for using his puppy as an excuse to post a shirtless photo.

Glen, who stars in the upcoming movie Twisters, recently shared a carousel on Instagram featuring photos of his newly adopted puppy, Brisket.

The 35-year-old actor shared adorable photos of his dog on the set of Twisters, surrounded by other stars and sitting in the director’s chair.

One cute photo even showed Glen and Brisket wearing matching cowboy hats, while another showed the dog upside down on Glen’s lap.

In the caption, the Everyone But You star joked that her dog was rumored to be in the reboot of the 1993 film Homeward Bound.

“Shortly after being adopted, @hotbrisket joined the cast of ‘Twisters’ and was quickly called ‘the Lassie of his generation.’

“He’s rumored to lead a ‘Homeward Bound’ reboot that would crown him ‘King of Hollywood’s Animal Kingdom,'” he added.

Many of the comments, however, were about the last photo of Glen in the post – which showed him carrying the puppy shirtless.

The Scream Queens actor posed in the mirror while holding the puppy at chest height, showing off his toned body while wearing just a towel wrapped around his waist.

The star looked like she had just gotten out of the shower as her hair also looked damp.

WHERE IS THE WATER

Many followers accused Glen of using Brisket as an excuse to post a “thirst trap” on social media.

“It’s official. Half nekked thirst trap, and all this pureblood woman can see is THE FLOOF BABY!” one person wrote.

“The cutest puppy ever!! What a ball of fluff! That last photo you took of me I wasn’t prepared for,” a second added.

“Dying in a shirtless puppy thirst trap,” said a third, while a fourth said they had “no complaints with the thirst trap.”

“Pray, Jesus… I didn’t expect that last photo!!” another said.

A SUMMER OF TWISTS

Glen has been busy promoting his newest film, Twisters, which will be released in theaters on July 19th.

Twisters is a standalone sequel to the 1996 film Twister, starring Bill Paxton, 61, and Helen Hunt, 61.

The new film, which has a non-continuous plot, stars Glen alongside Normal People’s Daisy Edgar-Jones and In The Heights’ Anthony Ramos.

In an interview with Fandango’s Big Ticket Last month, Glen said that Twisters has “one of the most incredible action sequences of all time.”

“We filmed this in December, with a rain machine,” explained the actor.

“One of the coldest nights I’ve ever experienced, being dragged across a pool on a wire. I think it was the most physical thing I’ve ever done.”

Glen emphasized that the acting could not be “tender,” because “tornadoes are not tender.”

“You have to put your body on the line to sell this experience,” he noted.

Other actors in the upcoming film include Kiernan Shipka, Sasha Lane, David Corenswet, Katy O’Brian, Maura Tierney, Daryl McCormack, Brandon Perea, Harry Hadden-Paton, Tunde Adebimpe and Nik Dodani.
