SPS

There is currently no cure for Stiff Person Syndrome, which can leave patients like “human statues,” sometimes unable to walk or talk.

Celine was forced to cancel her world tour due to a rare neurological disorder – which leaves a person’s muscles tense uncontrollably.

According to experts from University College LondonThe condition is caused by persistent spasms and affects several muscles – mainly the lower limbs.

Most people who develop the disease will receive a diagnosis between the ages of 40 and 60.

SPS can leave patients like “human statues” and sometimes unable to walk or talk.

In most cases, people with SPS respond to high doses of diazepam, which is often used as an anti-anxiety medication.

Painkillers also improve symptoms, but do not cure the disorder.

SURPRISE APPEARANCE

Celine fought through the pain and made a shocking surprise appearance at the recent Grammy Awards.

The Power Of Love hitmaker handed the album of the year award to Taylor Swift.

Celine was greeted with a standing ovation as she presented the final award of the night.

“When I say this, I’m happy to be here,” Celine said, choking back her own tears. “I really mean it.”

The singer previously told fans she is trying to do what she can to minimize her symptoms and insisted she would return.

“It’s not fair to you to keep postponing the shows, and even though it breaks my heart, it’s best that we cancel everything now, until I’m actually ready to get back on stage again,” she reluctantly shared.

“I want everyone to know that I’m not giving up… and I can’t wait to see you again!”
