Taylor Swift it narrowly scored another win on the Billboard 200 albums chart. “The Tortured Poets Department” remained at No. 1 for the tracking week ending June 6. It reached 148,000 equivalent album units based on combined record sales, individual track sales and online streams (down just 16% from last week). This was its seventh week at number one. The 148,000 units of “Tortured Poets” were enough to contain the K-pop group ATEEZ, whose “Golden Hour: Part 1” had to settle for second place with 131,000 units. That pushed it down Billie Eilish“Hit Me Hard and Soft” to third place, but “Hit Me” still managed another 117,000 units, a 19% drop from the previous week, which shows impressive staying power for the 10-track collection. Morgan WallenThe group’s “One Thing at a Time” finished in fourth place with 71,000 units. And in fifth place, fellow country artist Shaboozey had a big breakthrough with “Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going” racking up 50,000 units.

In our weekly Billboard 200 prediction contest, most players correctly predicted that “Tortured Poets” would be number one once again. Only 13, however, predicted it would fall between 100,000 and 149,999 album units. In second place, 15 players bet correctly on “Golden Hour: Part 1”. Users were evenly split between “Hit Me Hard and Soft” and “One Thing at a Time” for number three; the 21 players who chose “Hit Me” got that question right, and the 27 players who put “One Thing” at number four got the right answer. The hardest spot to predict was number five: only one player predicted that “Where I’ve Been” would appear there. Overall, three players were able to correctly answer five of the six prediction questions. As you did? Find out here.
