Nicolas was dressed in a brightly colored two-piece outfit and Nike sneakers.
The Longlegs star hid his eyes behind sunglasses and accessorized with a silver watch.
Her son kept it casual in an all-black outfit consisting of a t-shirt and sweatpants with matching sneakers.
Kal-El’s long hair flowed in the breeze as he walked, and his face was adorned with a beard.
Like his father, he hid his eyes behind dark glasses.
Nicolas’ second oldest son has not been seen publicly since 2005.
The actor has three children together: Weston, 33, Kal-El, and a daughter named August Francesca Coppola Cage.

CAGE CONTROVERSY
Kal-El’s sighting comes days after his older brother, Weston Cage Coppola, was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon after allegedly attacking his mother.
The US Sun confirmed on July 10 that Weston was booked in Los Angeles weeks after his mother, Christina Fulton, was seen with her face badly bruised due to a physical confrontation with him during a mental health crisis.
“I can confirm that Weston Cage Coppola was arrested today for assault with a deadly weapon,” an LAPD spokesperson said at the time.
“He was arrested by the LAPD 77th Division.”
Weston was released on $150,000 bond around 10 a.m.
Weston’s troubled past
Wednesday’s arrest wasn’t the only time Weston has been in trouble with the law.
In 2011, Weston was arrested twice for domestic violence after allegedly getting into an argument that turned physical with his now ex-wife Nikki Williams.
The court was released on $50,000 bail, ABC news reported.
Six years later, in 2017, Weston was arrested for drunk driving and hit-and-run.
Police were first called to the scene after the heavy metal musician fled the scene of a separate accident that occurred a kilometer away.
Police said Weston crashed into several signs, parked cars and mailboxes before finally crashing into a tree.
He was jailed on $30,000 bail.
“The family knew this was coming, but needless to say, it’s a huge shock,” a source close to the family shared with The US Sun.
Nicolas is believed to have released his son from prison on bail.
A source close to the situation confirmed to The US Sun that Weston’s arrest was related to an attack on his mother, Christina, in April.
She addressed the distressing situation in a statement, sharing the “horrific” details with fans.
“Weston and I did not argue before the incident,” she said.
“On Sunday, April 28, several of Weston’s best friends reached out to me for assistance because they were experiencing a mental health crisis in Weston.”
When Christina arrived where her son was, she said she “acted quickly to ensure Weston’s safety.”
“Upon arrival, I was greeted by my son, who was clearly in a state of mental breakdown, which in turn became a horrific experience,” she added.
“I have always supported helping my son with mental health issues.”
“I’m doing everything I can to get him the continued support he needs.”
Police said Weston and her actress mother reached a verbal agreement before the alleged assault occurred, and she was covered in bruises, as reported by People.
The LAPD confirmed to PEOPLE that a battery report was filed at the time of the incident.
Weston has had trouble with the law in the past.
In 2017, the National Treasure actor’s son was arrested for DUI and hit-and-run.
Weston, then 26, was arrested for driving under the influence, as reported by People.
Authorities said he crashed into several signs, parked cars and mailboxes before crashing into a tree.
Police were initially called to the scene after Weston allegedly fled the scene of a separate incident that occurred a kilometer away.
After an examination at the hospital, he was charged with SUI and jailed on $30,000 bail.
Weston also faced domestic violence allegations following a dispute with his now-ex-wife Nikki Williams, according to ABC news.
CRISTINA’S PAIN
Following her son’s most recent arrest, Christina shared photos revealing the true extent of his injuries.
In the photo, she was seen with extensive injuries to her eyes and cheek.
She released another statement, this time exclusively to The US Sun, about the incident.
“On April 28, 2024, at around 5:30 p.m., I received urgent messages from friends of my son, Weston Cage, about his deteriorating mental state, urging me to come help,” she said.
“When I arrived to offer support and comfort him, he was already in the throes of a manic rage.
“Within minutes, I was brutally attacked and suffered serious injuries.
“Despite my desperate pleas to the responding police officers to detain him for a mental health assessment, the police officers refused my request and neglected my urgent need for medical attention.
“As a mother, I am deeply saddened and concerned about Weston’s ongoing mental health crisis.
“It is imperative that he receives the help he desperately needs.”
