Former TLC star Josh Duggar has maintained his fame behind bars, as The US Sun has exclusively learned that the fallen reality star is signing autographs while serving his prison sentence on child pornography charges.

Josh36, is serving a 151-month sentence at FCI Seagoville in Dallas, Texas, with a release date of October 2032.

US Sun can exclusively reveal that Josh, who appeared on the family’s long-running TLC show 19 Kids and Counting, is also considered a celebrity in Seagoville, as a source stated: “Josh has been signing autographs in newspaper articles about he to family members of prisoners. .”

A representative for Seagoville had no comment when contacted by The US Sun.

In February 2023, he got into trouble for sneaking a cell phone into prison.

Josh was thrown into the FCI Seagoville SHU, which stands for Special Housing Unit, and is more commonly known as solitary confinement.

A family member of an inmate at the facility exclusively told The US Sun at the time: “I would be very surprised if he was released, as most of the people there have been there for months.

“He has to wait until he has his disciplinary hearing.”

According to the Bureau of Federal Prisons, SHU inmates are allowed only “one phone call per month.”

As for visits, these are “restricted” or “prohibited” depending on the reason for the detention.

He was released from the SHU in March of the same year.

STRICT RULES

The US Sun also previously reported how the prison cracked down on contraband entering the facility.

Earlier this year, an inmate from Josh’s unit was arrested with contraband.

Josh Duggar’s Legal Timeline

Josh’s lawyer, Justin Gelfand, filed an appeal to overturn the conviction and hold a new trial in October 2022.

In one of the arguments, Justin alleged that federal agents allegedly seized Josh’s phone when he tried to contact his lawyer during a raid in his parking lot a year and a half before his arrest, while he was speaking to agents without anyone present. a lawyer.

The appeal was denied in November 2023.

Then, in 2024, the Supreme Court officially denied the conviction appeal.
