In them, Oprah, 70, kept her head down as she walked outside the facility in tight green leggings, a loose-fitting green long-sleeved top and black sneakers.

Maria paired it with sportswear, black leggings, a loose white t-shirt and gray sneakers.

After leaving the gym, the ladies were spotted at a commercial construction site in Santa Barbara and chatted with contractors.

They then stopped for coffee before returning to Oprah’s Montecito mansion in Maria’s Range Rover.

LOST WEIGHT

Oprah is rarely seen in casual attire, but she has proven that she is maintaining her healthy habits after losing 20 pounds.

Earlier this month, the TV icon looked happier than ever in photos from the Allen & Company Sun Valley Conference in Idaho with Van Jones, 55, and Gayle King, 69.

Oprah wore an all-white ensemble with a white and beige crossbody bag, tucking the shirt into cargo pants to highlight her smaller waist.

In December, Oprah opened up to People about her weight loss journey and how she changed her unhealthy habits after undergoing knee surgery in 2021.

“It was a public sport to make fun of me for 25 years,” she said of the media scrutiny of her voluptuous figure.

“I was blamed and shamed, and I blamed myself and I shamed myself,” the Mississippi native added.

Oprah recalled a magazine headline that further damaged her self-esteem: “I was on the cover of a magazine and it said, ‘Dumpy, Frumpy and Downright Lumpy.’

“I wasn’t angry. I was sad. I was hurt. I swallowed the shame. I accepted that it was my fault.”

She later started doing knee rehabilitation exercises, which helped kickstart her fitness journey.

“After [the surgery], I started walking and setting new distance goals each week. I could eventually walk three to five miles every day and a straight 10-mile walk on the weekends.

“I felt stronger, fitter and more alive than I had in years,” Oprah admitted.

Oprah revealed some of her weight loss techniques and confessed to using a “miracle drug” to lose weight.

Earlier this year, the famous journalist released a TV documentary titled An Oprah Special: Shame, Blame and the Weight Loss Revolution, which applauded those who criticized others for turning to medication to lose weight.

She reflected on once being embarrassed by Joan Rivers on The Tonight Show, hosted by Johnny Carson at the time.

The Oscar-nominated actress also recalled her fears of being passed over for a role in The Color Purple due to her weight.

Oprah eventually landed the role of Sofia in Steven Spielberg’s 1985 film and received widespread praise for her performance.
