In 2017, Kendall Jenner starred in a Pepsi ad.

The commercial was removed shortly after airing.

She was being photographed in a sparkly dress when she saw protesters marching.

Jersey Shore star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino wasn’t necessarily advertising the clothing brand Abercrombie & Fitch when he wore their clothes in 2012.

They offered the reality TV star a “substantial sum” to not wear their clothes, according to The Guardian.

He was known for displaying the A&F logo on his underwear, which hung outside his shorts when he was not wearing a shirt.

Abercrombie & Fitch said that although Jersey Shore is entertainment, they feared their customers would be deterred from purchasing their clothing if they were associated with Mike.

“We are deeply concerned that Mr. Sorrentino’s association with our brand could cause significant harm to our image,” a company spokesperson said.

“Therefore, we have offered a substantial payment to Michael ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino and the producers of MTV’s Jersey Shore for the character to wear an alternative brand. We have also extended this offer to other cast members and are urgently awaiting a response.”

“Kimono is my take on shapewear for women that actually works,” she concluded.

However, Kim was criticized for appropriating the name of traditional Japanese clothing.

“Nice underwear, but as a Japanese woman who loves wearing our traditional dress, the kimono, I find the name of your products disconcerting (as it bears no resemblance to the kimono) if not outright culturally offensive, especially if it’s just a play on words about your name, please reconsider,” a user X. he wrote.

Kyoto Mayor Daisaku Kadokawa even wrote a letter to Kim asking her to change her name.

She stuck to her decision at first, but changed the name to Skims a few days later.
