TEEN mother Jenelle Evans’ son Jace, 14, is “angry about moving to Las Vegas” after being “excited” about his new life in North Carolina without his “abusive” ex-stepfather, David Eason.
A source exclusively revealed to The US Sun that Jenelle, 32, is currently back at her home in North Carolina with her children, Jace, Kaiser, 10, and Ensley, 7, while she is packing up her home to move to the west.

The source says the Teen Mom star’s oldest son, Jace, is particularly unhappy with the move.
“They’re moving into a gated community, and where she’s going is gated for a reason,” the source said of the area the reality star is moving to with her three children.
“Jace doesn’t want to move, he hates it, he’s not happy and he’s alone.
“He thinks Las Vegas is too hot, miserable and, worst of all, he has to start all over there.”
The source said Jace was excited about his life in North Carolina without his ex-stepfather, David.
“Jace was happy where he was, with David finally gone.
“Jace has childhood friends in North Carolina and he could finally go out and be free and hang out with the people he grew up with,” the source noted.
The move to Las Vegas was a “shock and surprise” for Jace.
“He thought they were just going to MTV, he didn’t know she was planning to move them there.
“She didn’t ask him, she just signed a lease and told the kids, ‘We’re moving to Las Vegas.’”
The source added that the family flew from Las Vegas to North Carolina and hopes to pack up their things at home and drive everything back to Sin City.
During a recent episode of Teen Mom The Next Chapter, Jenelle talked to her manager about places to possibly move out west.
In the clip, Jenelle admitted that moving Jace would be the fourth school he would attend in just one year.
“This will be Jace’s fourth high school that he has started this year.
“I have to keep an eye on who he’s with, I don’t want him to get in trouble here,” Jenelle told her manager.
“This is the first time you’ll have Jace, where you’ll actually be able to raise him without anyone. No CPS, no court,” August said, as Jenelle also chimed in, “without my mom.”
The reality star then said, “Jace feels like he’s not walking on eggshells anymore and I feel like he’s more comfortable at home because David has already moved on the boat,” referring to their home in North Carolina, and David living on your boat in your home state.
As The US Sun previously reported, Jenelle alleged a long list of abusive behavior toward her ex.
The source said the 14-year-old was excited to move on with his life without David in the photo in North Carolina.
JENELLE’S RETURN ON MTV
Jenelle reappeared on the MTV series in May, when fans saw her once again on Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, after not being a part of the franchise since 2019.
Jenelle said on camera, “I think it will be good to start over,” as she walked down the street.

In February of this year, Jenelle filed for separation from David, citing his alleged “erratic” behavior, “substance abuse” issues and a “refusal” to work.

Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans met David Eason on Tinder in September 2015.
Jenelle became pregnant in April 2016 and announced she suffered a miscarriage, then became pregnant again with her and David’s daughter Ensley a few months later.
The pair got engaged in February 2017 and married in September.
A year after saying “yes,” Jenelle called 911 and accused David of assaulting her outside her home. She would later call the incident “a drunken, dramatic misunderstanding” and said she was “fine.”
Around May 2019, David shot and killed his French bulldog puppy named Nugget. Weeks after the incident, CPS took custody of all of the children, including their daughter, Ensley, Jenelle’s son, Kaiser, and David’s daughter, Maryssa.
When her children were returned to her, Jenelle fled to Tennessee with Kaiser and Ensley and filed an order of protection against David in October. She eventually dropped the case and returned to him.
In the following years, the couple sparked divided rumors, as the two frequently unfollowed each other on social media and updated their relationship statuses on Facebook.
As The US Sun exclusively reported, on February 23, 2024, Jenelle filed for separation from David. She stated that she filed the documents with “the intention that the separation would be permanent” and alleged that Eason had “exhibited troubling and at times disturbing behavior toward [her]”Throughout the entire wedding.
In court documents revealed exclusively by The US Sun, the MTV star criticized everything from David’s 2019 murder of his pet dog, Nugget, to his current felony charge for allegedly strangling his son, Jace.
“Throughout the duration of the parties’ marriage, the defendant exhibited troubling and at times disturbing behavior toward the plaintiff.
“In May 2019, the defendant shot and killed the family pet, French Bulldog Nugget, in front of his minor son,” the complaint said.
Jenelle also alleged that as a result of David allegedly killing her family pet, “the Columbus County Department of Children’s Services, DSS instituted proceedings against the parties and took into custody the aforementioned minor children.”
She also mentioned David’s alleged assault on Jace in September 2023.
“On or about September 28, 2023, a report was made to medical professionals by the plaintiff’s eldest minor child.”
Jenelle noted that the Sheriff’s Office investigated the allegations and David was “subsequently charged with misdemeanor child abuse and felonious assault by strangulation.”
David still faces the charges.
The father of three has yet to respond directly to the strangulation allegations.
