BILL & Ted co-stars Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter are teaming up again.
The actors, who first worked together 35 years ago, will star in a new Broadway adaptation of Waiting for Godot.
The production will be directed by Olivier-winning British director Jamie Lloyd, whose adaptation of the play will be released next fall in New York City.
Keanu and Alex, both 59, said they are “incredibly excited” to be reuniting on stage, more than three decades after they were cast in the sci-fi comedy film.
“We are incredibly excited to be on stage together and working with the great Jamie Lloyd in one of our favorite pieces,” the joint statement read.
Jamie, 43, said in a statement that it was a “true honor” to work with the “brilliant” Keanu and Alex in the Irish playwright’s masterpiece “Samuel Beckett”.

Widely considered one of the greatest plays ever written, Waiting for Godot was first performed in 1953.
The play follows two acquaintances Estragon and Vladimir as they struggle with the meaning of life while waiting for the play’s titular character, Godot, who ultimately never appears.
The Matrix star will play Estragon, while Alex will play Vladimir in Jamie’s version of Waiting for Godot, which marks Keanu’s Broadway debut.
Alex previously appeared on Broadway in 1979, when the actor was cast in supporting roles in productions of Peter Pan, The King and I and The Boy Who Wouldn’t Grow Up.
He and Keanu played two time-traveling slackers in the 1989 hit Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure.
The film had two sequels that were released in 1991 and 2020.
Fans reacted to the play’s “chaotic” casting on a Reddit forum, with one person writing: “This feels like a 30 Rock joke.
“I need to see.”
Another user commented: “I love Waiting for Godot and Bill and Ted’s excellent adventure. I didn’t know I needed this chaotic mix until now.”
“Waiting for Ga-Wow,” read a third comment.

NEED FOR SPEED
Keanu, who was last seen in the fourth John Wick film, recently said he wants to reunite with his Speed co-star Sandra Bullock.
The action thriller was released in June 1994 and became the fifth highest-grossing film of that year.
Celebrating the film’s 30th anniversary, Keanu joined Sandra for a special appearance on the 50 MPH podcast in May.
The award-winning actor said he feels a “siren call” to do Speed 3, adding “we would rock it.”
Although he wasn’t part of Speed 2, Keanu expressed his desire to return to the franchise, adding, “It feels like there’s a siren call, like there’s something that hasn’t been done.
“I would love to work with you again before our eyes close,” he told Sandra, 59.
