“I hope this time she sings live and just lip-syncs the high parts,” he wrote a user.

“No she won’t but I’m still going to do it,” a second user he responded.

The concern about dubbing comes after the singer was accused of doing it during her shows.

The allegations first surfaced in late 2016 when Mariah was caught mumbling the words during a New Year’s Eve performance in Times Square.

Mariah opened her show with a rendition of Auld Lang Syne before moving into a performance of her 1991 hit Emotions.

It was during the high power number that the track malfunctioned.

Before the incident, it appeared the star was having issues with her monitors.

“I’m trying to be a good sport here,” she told the stunned audience.

“We didn’t have a sound check for this song… we’re missing some vocals, but it is what it is. I’m just going to let the audience sing it. We didn’t have a sound check for this New Year’s Baby, it is what it is…

“Turn those monitors on, please.”

“I wanted a vacation too, I can’t just take one,” she added.

Later in the performance, it appeared that Mariah was listening to a different track as she sang the notes of We Belong Together as she closed the song with “Bring the Feathers, it just doesn’t get any better” before exiting the stage. .

The singer later posted an Instagram story about the performance.

‘Shit happens… Have a happy and healthy new year everyone!… Here’s to making more headlines in 2017…’
