He was charged with three felony counts for his actions, but remained silent until Friday, when he made a statement on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The country singer wrote, “I didn’t feel good checking in publicly until I made peace with a few people.

“I contacted Nashville authorities, my family and the good people at Chief’s,” referring to the bar where he was arrested.

He continued: “I am not proud of my behavior and I accept responsibility.”

In another tweet, he wrote: “I have the utmost respect for the police officers who work every day to keep us safe.

“Regarding my tour, there will be no changes. -MW”

According to arrest reportMorgan was charged with disorderly conduct and two counts of reckless endangerment.

After throwing the chair from the six-story bar, the furniture fell a few meters from a group of police officers who were standing in the street.

Viewers claimed he laughed after throwing the chair.

In his photo, he wore a light blue shirt and his hair was casually swept away from his face.

He smiled at the camera as if he was taking a photo with a fan.

Video footage shared on X showed the singer being escorted to a car following his release from the Metro Nashville jail after posting $15,250 bail.

In his statement, Morgan said the arrest would not affect his One Night at a Time world tour.

The tour began in early April, just days before his arrest.

Their next show will be on Saturday, April 20th in Oxford, Mississippi.

‘NOT A BIG DEAL’

On social media, Morgan’s fans showed him a lot of grace and forgave him for his actions.

One of them said, “It’s no big deal, Bubba. They are exaggerating because of who you are.”

“All can be forgiven, if only you let go of that song you made with @PostMalone,” another added.

A third said: “Keep your head up king. We all had a lot of fun in our youth and sometimes we had to face the music. Glad to see you own your mistakes.”

Other social media users were not willing to let the incident go so easily.

“No, it’s a big problem, if that chair had hit someone it could have been horrible. He’s taking responsibility, which is great.

“When you have prominence, you have to do better,” replied a critic to one of his supporters.

Another said: “Maybe don’t let the booze do the talking next time.”
