BRITNEY Spears’ recent departure with ex-boyfriend Paul Soliz sparked concern among her friends and family.
Britney, 39, reportedly began dating her former housekeeper, Paul, around the time her ex-husband, Sam Asghari, filed for divorce in August 2023.
Less than a year later, the Toxic hitmaker declared she was “single as fuck” in a since-deleted Instagram message, adding: “I will never be with another man as long as I live!!!”
However, new photographs obtained by TMZ sparked reconciliation fears, as Britney reportedly joined Paul for lunch at SoHo House in Malibu on July 30.
They were also photographed leaving the exclusive, members-only club together in a black SUV, as seen in the photos published on August 2nd.
Speaking to TMZ, a source close to Britney reportedly said her loved ones are “confused and concerned” that she is spending time with Paul just weeks after their alleged breakup.

US Sun has reached out to Britney’s representatives for comment.
A source reportedly told the publication that members of Britney’s inner circle are “concerned about Paul’s criminal past” amid fears he is “using” her.
According to court documents obtained by US WeeklySoliz has been accused of several misdemeanors over the years, including child endangerment and driving without a license.
He was arrested for possession of a firearm by a felon and illegal possession of ammunition in December 2020.
Paul pleaded no contest to the charges and was sentenced to two years of probation, the outlet reported.
He also served 90 days in prison.
Britney has previously called out Paul, 37, for the way he handled a run-in with the paparazzi.
On July 7, Britney took to her Instagram Stories to share a paparazzi photo of her and Paul in a car.
The footage showed her hunched over in the passenger seat, with Paul using his hand to cover his face on camera.
“Why was he going 90 in a neighborhood with a paparazzi following only to roll down the window when the paparazzi pulls over to my side????” she questioned Paul’s behavior in screenshots obtained by Page six.
Britney Spears Conservatorship Timeline
In September 2021, by Britney case was returned to a Los Angeles court where Judge Brenda Penny made a series of bombshell decisions, following her father’s decision to end the conservatorship the previous month.
She decided to free Jamie from her daughter’s guardianship, however, this did not mean the complete end of the guardianship.
Speaking in court, Judge Brenda Penny said: “Based on what I have read in the record and I have read everything. I believe that Jamie Spears’ suspension is in Britney Spears’ best interest.
“The current situation is unattainable. The court finds that the toxic environment Jamie Spears created needs to be removed today.”
After the judge’s ruling, a temporary conservator was placed in Jamie’s place for about a month.
In early November 2021, Jamie returned to court presenting new legal documents that show he has stopped fighting.
Jamie had previously demanded $2 million in exchange for his resignation, but documents at the time showed he was not seeking any additional compensation.
On November 12, Judge Penny ruled in the pop star’s favor, removing Jamie as conservator without requiring any additional mental examination of Britney.
“So he calls his mom and says he’s being harassed,” she added. “Why did he roll down the window with me crying in the seat???”
Britney made headlines in May when photos of her being escorted out of the luxury Chateau Marmont hotel in Hollywood by paramedics surfaced online.
Although it was initially reported that Britney sprained her ankle after an alleged fight with Paul, she later insisted that “the news is fake” in a series of messages posted to Instagram.
Britney claimed “I actually sprained my ankle” while trying to “jump” in her hotel suite, adding: “The paramedics knocked on my door illegally, of course it causes a huge scene, and all I needed was ice.” .
She also praised her lawyer Mathew Rosengart, who helped end her 13-year conservatorship, as a “wonderful” man who “helped me get through” the ordeal.
US Sun previously revealed that none of the singer’s friends “like Paul”, adding: “We don’t trust he’s not just a con man.”
They also commented on Britney’s response to the Chateau Marmont incident, adding that she “believes she is the target of a smear campaign.”
The source added that Britney finds it “comical” that some people are “worried” about her not being able to manage her own life, but she doesn’t seem that concerned about her stress “when they’re making money off of her.”
Paul previously described Britney as a “phenomenal woman” in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly.
“She’s very, very good, positive… She’s a good person,” he said.
