The TV personality revealed that she fled to the countryside to take a break from a Instagram postdays after The View’s season finale aired.

In the photo, Alyssa, 35, can be seen on a lounge chair with her Havanese puppy Herbie perched on her lap.

Her vacation outfit included a blue tank top, a pair of shorts, and oversized sunglasses, with simple gold studs and Alyssa’s wedding ring as accessories.

New York-based Alyssa appeared to be enjoying her vacation at The View in a gorgeous, rustic property, complete with sloped ceilings and wooden floors.

She captioned her photo: “Summer weekends in the country are good for the soul.”

Her latest post comes after Alyssa’s co-host Sunny Hostin announced that the popular daytime TV show will be undergoing a big change when it returns from hiatus.

During the season 27 finale on August 2, Sunny confirmed, “This is the final episode of the season.

“And after 10 years and 2,143 episodes, this is also the last show we will make at this studio.

“We are sad to say goodbye, but we are thrilled to be moving to a brand new, state-of-the-art studio downtown,” Sunny continued. “And we’ll see you there in September for season 28 of The View,”

When it premiered in 1997, the talk show was filmed at ABC Television Studio 23 in New York City.

In 2014, the hit ABC series moved to the ABC Broadcast Center.

The View’s schedule change keeps the show on the air as fans ‘miss’ the hosts and ask ‘what are we going to do every day?’

It’s not immediately clear where new episodes of The View will be filmed following Sunny’s announcement.

The fate of The View is currently in the balance, with a TV source telling The US Sun it is likely to be decided before the end of the year.

Along with Alyssa and Sunny, 55, The View is hosted by Whoopi Goldberg, 68, Joy Behar, 81, Sara Haines, 46, and Ana Navarro, 52.

Speaking to The US Sun, an ABC source suggested that although The View faces an uphill battle as its audience ages, the show is unlikely to be axed before the November election.

The preview hosts

The View is an American talk show that airs on ABC from 11 am to 12 pm EST, Monday through Friday. It features a diverse group of women discussing the day’s “Hot Topics,” ranging from hard-hitting news to celebrity gossip. The six co-hosts include:

“The bigger issue is that while the show continues to be profitable for ABC and its affiliated TV stations, the ratings are declining every year and they are getting older every year,” said the veteran TV insider.

“This is not a reversible trend and that is why there is a clock on this franchise.

“With a woman in the presidential race, The View could be an important place to discuss the election and even hear from politicians themselves before the November vote.

“The next four months are all about maximizing the interest in the show and the team they have at the moment.

“They need great guests and they need to be in the news, and if they can do that, everyone will still have their jobs in 2025.”

The source added that the death of The View creator and original host Barbara Walters in December 2022 could mean the show is less likely to survive.

“The fact that Barbara Walters is long gone makes it much easier to end the show,” they said.

“Decision makers at the network and ABC News were afraid to tinker too much with the show while Barbara was alive, but now all bets are off.

“The program is profitable, but the trend is downward and everyone involved knows that.

ENJOY THE VIEW

Despite the grim forecast, Alyssa’s fans expressed their excitement about her return to The View next month – ahead of election season.

“I’m glad you’re getting a well-deserved [sic] rest and relaxation,” one person commented on their Instagram post. “We need you to rest when The View returns – there will be a lot to catch up on!”

“Alyssa, of all times, The View is on hiatus! I want to hear what you have to say about what’s going on,” said another fan, referring to the battle for the presidency between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris.
