Hoda, 60, was surprised by people she interviewed years ago.

They either battled cancer or were trying to adopt a child.

She helped everyone by getting a child for adoption by a couple, bringing them comfort and being present during treatments.

As they chatted on video, Hoda wiped away tears.

The families then surprised her by showing up in person and giving her flowers.

“It’s too much!” Hoda told her co-hosts.

She was also surprised by a mural featuring her daughters’ hands that read “Just the Right Time,” a quote she says often.

Little Big Town appeared to sing their song Stay All Night in the square.

Sugarland also performed their biggest hit, Stuck Like Glue.

The bands then came together for a duet to sing Phil Collins’ Take Me Home.

Bart Conley, whose wife, Jill, had breast cancer, talked about how kind Hoda was to them during that time, sending her video messages all the time.

Sadly, Jill lost her battle with breast cancer at just 32 years old.

Frank and Stacey Parrado wanted to adopt a child and Hoda told them they were compatible.

Their daughter, now 6, surprised Hoda on Today with a bouquet of flowers.

Hoda connected with the families because she battled breast cancer in 2007 and adopted her two daughters – Hope and Haley.
