Hoda, 60, was shocked when her co-host, Jenna Bush Hager, said they had a special message for her.

Sandra, who appeared via video message, said she had a lot of fun things prepared, but she was “very tired” because she climbed the mountain (up to 60) before Hoda.

She turned 60 in July.

“Happy birthday, my dear friend. Thank you for letting me into your circle. I feel so grateful,” said Sandra, 60.

The actress said that the top of the mountain is “very good”.

“Everything is incredible because you did it this way. Thank you for being so amazing to so many people,” she said.

“We’re all so lucky to have you.”

The Today host said it was “awesome!” and wiped away her tears when the video ended.

Hoda told Jenna, 42, that Sandra inspired her to become a mother at her age because Sandra also adopted children later in life.

This is one of Sandra’s first public appearances since her partner’s death in August 2023.

TRAGIC LOSS

Sandra’s boyfriend, Bryan Randall, died at age 57 from ALS on August 5, 2023.

His family shared the news in a statement to People.

“It is with great sadness that we share that on August 5, Bryan Randall passed away peacefully after a three-year battle with ALS,” they wrote.

“Bryan chose early on to keep his ALS journey private and those of us who cared for him did our best to honor his request.”

Everything is amazing because you made it that way. Thank you for being so amazing to so many people.

“We are immensely grateful to the tireless doctors who navigated the landscape of this disease with us and to the amazing nurses who became our roommates, often sacrificing their own families to be with ours,” he continued.

“At this time we ask for privacy to grieve and accept the impossibility of saying goodbye to Bryan.”

ALS is a neurodegenerative disease that affects a person’s brain and spinal cord.

SANDRA AND BRYAN’S RELATIONSHIP

Bryan was a model turned photographer.

He photographed Sandra’s son Louis’ birthday in 2015, where they met.

The couple made their first public appearance at Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux’s wedding months later.

They kept their relationship very private.

However, during an episode of Conversation at the Red Table in 2021, Sandra spoke about dating Bryan.

“I found the love of my life. We share two beautiful children – three children, [Bryan’s] eldest daughter. It’s the best thing ever,” she said.

“I don’t want to say do it like I do it, but I don’t need a role to be a dedicated partner and a dedicated mother.”

Sandra and Bryan never married when they were together.

She has not acted since 2022 in Lost City and Bullet Train.
