Kathie Lee, 70, appeared on Today on Tuesday to talk about her book and her recent surgery.

She said she needed a hip replacement because her hips were “up to the bulge.”

Upon recovering, Kathie Lee said she was “running down the stairs” in her Tennessee home because her friend was locked out of her house.

“It was 100 degrees at the time and I lived in a four-story house.”

“So I went too fast, with stupid shoes, and I fell,” she shared.

Kathie Lee walked with a walker at that time.

She soon realized that she did not feel any pain despite her fractured pelvis.

“My pelvis was broken front and back,” Kathie Lee revealed.

‘COMPLETELY CURED’

Kathie Lee said she didn’t take painkillers during the surgery, so she was confused when she didn’t feel any pain.

The injury happened just a few weeks ago, when she said she called her doctor about two weeks after it happened and was shocked that she felt no pain.

However, Kathie Lee went to the hospital last Thursday for an X-ray.

The doctor told her that she was completely cured after showing her the X-ray.

“You are cured. It’s a miracle,” he told her.

Kathie Lee said she now feels no pain.

BRUTAL MOMENT

Kathie Lee was rushed to the hospital after the fall.

She stayed in the hospital for a week.

“It didn’t take long, because I was weak in that situation,” said Kathie Lee People.

“And the next thing you know, I’m back in the hospital with a broken pelvis, front and back.”

“This is more painful than anything I went through on my hip. My pelvis is incredibly sore. But anyway, here I am,” she said.

Kathie Lee said she “weakened herself” after moving 300 books alone the day before.

She was doing a signing for her book, Herod and Mary, which was released in July.
