MICHAEL Strahan’s daughter Isabella has given fans a new glimpse into a day in her life.

In October 2023, the influencer revealed on Good Morning America that she was diagnosed with medulloblastoma.

In February, Isabella, 20, began chemotherapy at Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center in North Carolina.

Since then, the daughter of Michael, 52, and Jean Muggli has been documenting her health journey on her YouTube channel.

On a vlog posted on Wednesday, she started the video being surprised by her 19-year-old sister Sophia, who came to visit her.

Sophia is currently a freshman at Duke University, while Isabella attends the University of Southern California (USC).

In the next clip, the 20-year-old welcomed viewers into her “crib” as her sister filmed her showing off the basket full of medicines Isabella takes.

Throughout the video, Isabella prepares her favorite tea and also goes to and from doctor’s appointments.

Isabella titled her vlog, “Vlog 20: I’m Feeling…A Sophia Strahan Short Film Starring Me.”

Since her diagnosis, Isabella has had three craniotomies.

‘Keep kicking cancer’s ass’

In the comments section, fans praised the young influencer for documenting her experiences.

What is medulloblastoma?

On January 11, 2024, Michael Strahan’s daughter Isabella appeared on Good Morning America and revealed that she is battling medulloblastoma.

Medulloblastoma is a cancerous brain tumor found in the lower back part of the brain, known as the cerebellum. It is the second most common brain tumor in children, but it can develop at any age.

The condition begins with a growth of cells, known as a tumor, and can quickly expand to other parts of the brain. The cells spread throughout the fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord, but generally do not spread to other parts of the body, according to the study. Mayo clinic.

Signs and symptoms of medulloblastoma, which can be diagnosed through neurological examination or imaging, include:

  • Dizziness
  • Double vision
  • Nausea
  • Headaches
  • Vomiting

Medulloblastoma can be treated with surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy and, in some cases, clinical trials. O National Cancer Institute reports a 5-year survival rate of 72.1%.

THE BEGINNING

She revealed that she was diagnosed on October 23.

At the time, Isabella was getting used to university life and began to feel symptoms around October 1st.

“That’s when I definitely noticed headaches, nausea, I couldn’t walk properly,” she revealed.

Isabella also discussed why she wanted to document her story: “Just be a voice and a person that people who are maybe going through chemo or radiation can look to.”

When it was his turn to speak, Michael spoke about how proud he was of his daughter for sharing her story: “She’s always been strong and this is something so personal that I didn’t know it would be something she would do. I want to share. I’m extremely proud.”
