In an Instagram video posted before the show, Robin, 63, revealed that she fractured her wrist while playing tennis.

The Peabody Award winner showed off her cast and joked, “You should see the other guy. Why should I,” as she playfully punched the camera.

She told fans: “I actually took a little fall on the tennis court and fractured my wrist.”

Robin noted that in all her years as a competitive athlete, this was her first fracture and “hopefully” her last.

The former ESPN sportscaster captioned the post: “Good morning! Playing a little sore this morning, but Glam Fam and I would still like to share with you our #tuesdaythoughts.”

On Tuesday’s episode, GMA co-host George Stephanopoulos asked Robin, “How are you feeling?”

“I’m feeling much better,” Robin replied.

She then joked, “I can neither confirm nor deny whether I’m taking painkillers,” while pretending to be lost looking around the studio.

After the joke, Robin reaffirmed, “I’m much better,” after which host Gio Benitez added, “I know it’s been really painful… but no one makes a cast look cuter.”

FEELING ADVENTURED

Last month, Robin was absent for an extended period from Good Morning America, but continued to share her adventures on social media as the morning show revealed her replacement.

Robin was anchoring GMA alongside George and Michael Strahan, but announced that Tuesday, March 5, would be her last day as she traveled across America for different projects.

She began her video: “Good morning. We’re ready to hit the road again.

“I’m going to leave a little early so we can go to Iowa and talk to Caitlin Clark.”

Caitlin, who was recently selected in the WNBA draft by the Indiana Fever, was a college basketball player for the Iowa Hawkeyes.

“I put on my Iowa colors and even got my sneakers ready,” Robin continued.

She then told her followers that she was heading to Los Angeles for an “exclusive interview.”

“So we’re going to Nashville to see Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood,” the GMA host said.

Robin then finished the video with the morning message and prayer.

ROBIN REPLACEMENT

GMA chose Rebecca Jarvis to sit next to Michael and George while Robin was away.

Rebecca, 42, recently took an extended leave of absence from GMA as she was on maternity leave to have her second child.

Good Morning America hosts

These are the hosts of ABC’s morning show Good Morning America:

Robin documented her time away by sharing videos on her Instagram Stories.

A video showed Robin outside the Hawkeye arena.

The anchor revealed that she had just finished her interview with Caitlin.

She then said she was heading to Los Angeles for her next interview, but found time to play some basketball at Hawkeye Arena before heading west.

Robin managed to get into the hoop as his Glam team cheered.

The last video was of the clouds while she was sitting on a plane.

“Great time in Iowa. Scratching beautiful country for next assignment in Los Angeles,” Robin captioned the video.
