A source said Page six in March that Marciano “was found to have done something…inappropriate.”

“But he was punished for it and they still won’t let him back.”

Apparently, there were several issues with Marciano before his dismissal.

The source said Marciano was “very irritated and angry…unpleasant behavior on his part.”

“Any decision made about staffing is based, first and foremost, on protecting the culture and allowing our people to focus on their news gathering work, free from distractions,” the source said.

Marciano joined ABC as GMA’s senior meteorologist on July 18, 2014.

He replaced Ginger Zee, who had been the show’s weekend weather correspondent until she began reporting for the weekday broadcasts.
