WENDY Williams’ ex-husband Kevin Hunter has expressed his thoughts on the talk show host’s latest TV appearance and criticized his guardian for letting it happen.
US Sun can exclusively reveal that Kevin had some choice words for his ex-wife’s guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, during the court battle over the handling of Wendy’s money.
Kevin, 51, and Sabrina, 59, appeared in court on Friday, April 19, to discuss the television producer’s claims that she has yet to hand him the financial records he has repeatedly requested.
Wendy’s ex also fought to reinstate her divorce payments, which stopped abruptly three years earlier, around the time the TV personality obtained Sabrina as her conservator.
“I know this is a difficult case for a number of different reasons,” Judge Michael Katz told the pair during the hearing.
“It’s difficult for both parties, but also because of the physical, mental health and financial issues, it’s difficult for both parties, and both parties need to have this resolved. I think this case needs to go to arbitration, but Sir, it needs discovery.”

Kevin agreed with the judge and noted that he was aware of how much Wendy received from Lifetime for the docuseries, which were released in February, and pointed the finger at Sabrina for allegedly keeping some of his money.
COURT CONFLICT
“I understand why I’m here, but there were outright lies that Mrs. Morrissey is telling us, and we still haven’t seen the bank records. She was supposed to give us access to the retirement accounts,” Kevin explained.
He then took another dig at Sabrina, saying he “didn’t trust” her and was “embarrassed” by the docu-series Where Is Wendy Williams?, which documented the star’s life after the end of her long-running talk show, The Wendy Williams . Show her declining health and appoint a guardian to help with her care.
“There was gross negligence – as far as her being a guardian, I don’t trust this woman,” Kevin told the court about Sabrina.
“I’m totally embarrassed by the production that went into it,” he added, referring to the docuseries, which lists Wendy and her and Kevin’s son, Kevin Hunter Jr., as executive producers.
Sabrina defended herself against Kevin’s claims, telling the judge, “As far as I know, there was no half-million-dollar appearance – I disagree with Mr. Hunter’s statements.”
Judge Katz then noted that the situation would only be resolved with the cooperation of both parties.
“People won’t be content if they don’t have all the information, so I don’t know why they don’t have information,” he said.
Kevin further reiterated in his argument that he had not received divorce payments from Wendy for three years, while Sabrina “allowed the production” of the Lifetime series.
“Everything she signed brought in more than $500,000. Meanwhile, Mrs. Morrissey is telling me that there is no money, but everyone is using the best in production.
There was gross negligence – as far as her being a guardian, I don’t trust this woman.

“She is clearly very in tune with the production as she signs it,” the father of two alleged of Wendy’s guardian.
Ultimately, Judge Katz had the final say, seemingly siding with Kevin in the matter.
“I don’t know anything about this, but it seems like you have the consent of [Wendy] to resolve this, and if Mr. Hunter only received two months of statements, it’s up to him to know what’s out there and give what was asked for,” Judge Katz told Sabrina.
He continued: “An arbitrator will decide whether there has been a violation [of Kevin and Wendy’s marital settlement agreement]and so if there was, we need discovery to see any damages.”
WENDY’S CONFESSION
Last week, The US Sun exclusively reported that the judge criticized Sabrina for not working with Kevin regarding Wendy’s financial records.
However, according to Wendy, there may be little to work with.
The New Jersey native admitted on the Lifetime docuseries, “I don’t have any money,” while discussing her conservatorship.
“And let me tell you something: if it happens to me, it could happen to you,” warned the mother of one.
